Honestly it's the look of them, they were ugly to most people when the first came out. When they fits came out they were one of the most expensive shoes ever and came out I the blue/black. Since then all kinds of colors have came out and the shoe is jus an eye catcher.
They're rugged shoes that last a long time and are very easy to clean. I've always liked them because they were different, nowadays I think many use them as a fashion statement or a sign of money.
In they past they were good basketball shoes but the ones they're making now don't seem to be that comfortable. I have a pair of Foam Pros from 98 that are one of the most comfortable shoes that I own.
Like I said to many they're ugly but to the people that like them there's no design out there like them.

I remember most Jordan's after the 6's being ugly at first but growing on you after seeing them for a while. When I first saw the 9's I thought they looked like moon boots.

They high as hell and go for over 200 in most cases. Never been a fan. Them red valentine joints were nice. The Foam ones ain't terrible though but them 2's with the big nike check just look ugly. But nobody really coppin' because of how they look. Just to the exclusiveness. That's my opinion on that anyway. Royal Blue Foam's are the only ones I ever fucked with.
