I wouldn't say they're trash, but they're not anything to get excited over either. If you have the eggplants and dark pines, I see no reason to get these. These are just a different combination of the colorshift to get another $220. A lot of these new colors are for the new foam wearers who just started in the past two years.

Ewing Athletics has revealed the first image of their 2012 33 Hi Retro lineup. The launch group consists of both home and away Knicks colorways, as well as red and black-based pairs, all part of the original launch in 1990. If this photo is any indication, we should expect an almost-exact replica of the classic without any major compromises. According to the Ewing Athletics Twitter account, the 33 Hi will return to retail sometime in August, with a European launch set for Holiday 2012. Each pair will be packed in an original-style box and will come with basketball keychains and hang tags. Size run will be 8-15 men's. Pricing and other details to be announced soon.

Gym greens look like a dirty old penny and aren't anything special. Any foam gets hyped up these days.
