Nike is struggling bad, living off Jordan retros.
The only good Nike's now are retro's. Jordan's (1-13 for me), Penny's & Barkley's used to be a fashion statement. KD's & Lebrons might be great for basketball but nobody is pairing them up with a nice fit. I'm not impressed with any of these new sneakers, LaMelo's, Harden's, AE's & Shai's. None of them.
No orange or green?
This is fucked up.
So Nike CEO goes to McKenzie for advice and and some MBAs tell Nike that they have to get rid of those categories and name them more general as in men women kids
Nike CEO goes to Nike and fire 600-800 Nike staff and implement that strategy in 2021 and in 2023 seeing their mistake they go back to the drawing table and re implement the old categories.
No one from McKenzie got fired and the stock never made a come back.
Goes to show you that MBAs and CEOs of multibillion companies are as stupid as anyone.
Any multibillion company driven by expensive stupid people will become a million company.

I’m on a business trip and forgot to bring a simple workout T-shirt. I found a Dicks Sporting goods store close to me, walked in and headed for the Nike athletic wear section. I picked it up and looked on the price tag….
$60.
Sixty bucks!? For a simple. One color, polyester t-shirt.

A cheap, little polyester t-shirt that cost you around $5 for some 12 year old kid in Vietnam to make.
For context. I make a pretty good living. Money isn’t a huge concern for my wife and I.
I saw that price and asked the sales lady if it was a mistake. She said it wasn’t.
I walked out the door.
It’s a Nike T-shirt.
Not a Ralph Lauren Polo or some higher end brand.
Here’s the crazier part. I drove down the street to @Dillards and guess what the non discounted Ralph Lauren Polo T-shirt’s were? $55.

facts the huaraches they have out now are the 2k4s that aren't really moving like that. They did release the OG huarache trainers recently but stopped releasing OG colors and made new ones that are still sitting.
crazy that people who got them from Dover Street Market had to pay a 100 plus just for the import duties tax. It came up shy of 600 after that and taxes.
Nike has lots of good shoes to wear for actual sports. Times have changed and the taste of the public style-wise has changed. Which leads to different styles being more popular.
Nike has lots of LeBron's, KD, and Jordan's "Non-Retro" that can be worn off the court. But since around 2012/13/14, people stopped wearing basketball shoes off the court.
And the reason that you don't like the new sneakers is, because yiu fuckers are old!
I joke but there's truth to it. The older we get, we like the newer styles less and less.

Man they haven’t release the light blue air max 95 since like 2000… for decades I said Nike need to make a website where you can just order any retro they ever made and they make that shit for you and send it in.. I said they been would’ve made a killing off of old school Nike fans like myself cause instead of waiting yrs for a particular retro I want in limited release in extra few pairs in my size they could get my money all yr round.. back in the days and he’ll even now people like myself would buy whole outfits just to go with your kicks, whole wardrobes for months even yrs literally copped just cause your kicks.. I use to call sneakers “periods or the period” I said your whole gear was a sentence from head to toe, your sentence don’t make since without a period.. so outfit to match the kicks and your whole sentence make sense and people would understand and love it.. sneaker buyers like me would consistently buy the right kicks throughout the yr cause we want to look fly all yr.. with this rare release shit it fucked up everything and I’m not doing handstands and juggling chainsaws to give you my money.. what happened motherfuckers started going to other name brands.. you had one job Nike , website , any retro available all yr round.. now your stock down and people joining other brands.,smhNike has lots of good shoes to wear for actual sports.
