Bruh, you can't tell me someone didn't get fired over those 2 signings. A hard head makes a soft ass. They must've thought that the Yeezy's were selling because of the "check".... My how they quickly they realized they fucked up! What I can't realize is why they haven't just pulled a petty ass move and dropped massive amounts of the Yeezy II's lol GR the Red October's first and then just dropping diff colorways like a bitter hoe

There isn't demand for Yeezy's like that. It's based on them being limited and the resell value.

If they pumped out a couple of hundred thousand of them like Jordan's nobody would want them. They're not like Jordan's people don't have a attachment with the sneaker and most people don't even like Kanye anymore. The exclusivity is what attracts people.

Same with Ultra Boost and NMD's...people wanted them when they were limited or they want the limited ones(collabs, chalks/creams). Now that they release a lot of them in different colors, a lot of people lost interest.

C'mon man, that really a question?! Like him or not, Kanye is an icon. Off the top of my head I can think of at least 3 or 4 trends he set, shit RIGHT out the gate he had people on some backpacks and polo shit, then those stupid fucking sho nuff glasses... Jesus pieces were pretty much just an NY thing, he brought that back and now everybody and their mama has one, those long ass bib/onesie tees I see these young niggas rocking the list just goes on and on...

I still say they would have had a MUCH better shot with Fab... he just doesn't have as huge a base.

Kanye was the PERFECT cat for the job, they just blew it. Greed is a muthafucka, because they didn't want to give the guy more creative control and bread, they let Adidas give him more than that and their gamble paid off because Adidas snatched a chunk of market share from Nike.

Nike is at fault for not seeing the big picture in regards to yeezy being a major cash cow and clout in fashion.

I believe Adidas has outperformed Nike in sales and influencing tastemakers this past year.

The brand with the three stripes really struck gold with their boost technology, dope ass runner styling, nmds, the signing of Yeezy, and their retooling of their basketball shoe line..


I am now looking more forward to all Adidas future projects because I love their Ultra Boost technology and styling.


It was a perfect storm with an unassisted assist of Nike sleeping behind the wheel.

It seems like Nike is stuck on they old tech for their shoes.

The swoosh better come up with something to combat that Boost Tech.

Couldn't hurt to throw some up on craigslist and ebay if you're trying to make space of just get rid of shit you know you'll just never get around to wearing. Jordan's still sell, but man it ain't what it used to be. You'll still get heat for some shit, but some shit you just gotta let go. I had a pair of 3m jordan 5's (the green joints) I had to sell for like 200, I felt they were worth more but it is what it is
