Because for most sneakers you need to get rid of them quickly to beat everyone else. A lot of releases draw the most resell value the first weekend now unless you want to hold on to them for over a year. People who missed out want to calm their disappointment. But only so many people are willing to spend $500+. When everyone gets theirs in from online it puts even more on the market. These sneaker makers put so many sneakers on the market that people quickly move on to the next release. And next week it's the 350's.
