Walked into footlocker at 1:30 and a pairs of 3s in my size were already at the register. Seemed like a sign so I purchased. Buyers remorse has set in however.

You don't have to worry about bots for general release kicks

That's false and he's right, Nike finally figured out how to beat bots. You have to correctly identify 4 pictures now. This morning on twitter one of the bots handle said "all bits have failed. Sorry" followed by "good luck"

No it's not

What general release sold out in two minutes? Name me a general release that was hard to get?

The XI? That's about it.

A general release they're not making but like $20 or $30 if that. The most you make from a sneaker is right now, that Saturday and Sunday. By the time dudes are getting their pairs from UPS on Wednesday and Thursday ebay and craigslist are flooded with the sneakers and it drives prices down to damn near retail or worse with ebay fees. Inspiration Kobe's were going for over $300, but there were so many on ebay near the end of the week that dudes weren't getting $275. They sold for $225, so how much did you make? And they weren't even a general release.

Infrared Jordan VI's, you'll be lucky to sell them for $200. Same with powder blue X's.

Bots are a problem when it comes to limited sneakers.

3's look alright, seen em on feet at the grocery spot.

People don't waste any time.

I got a pair, because they look better with black laces.

Probably the best pair of III's lately other than my 88's.

You can't be serious. When was the last time you tried to grab a pair of Jordans on NDC or a sneaker store like FootLocker, Finishline, Eastbay etc? Cats wake up just to hit the refresh button at 8am and try to add kick to their cart and most people STILL get routed to the spa site and are put on ice for a while.

If you live in a place where you can stroll into the mall late afternoon and still grab you size then just say that, because I can't remember the last time NDC has been able to keep any retro on that site longer than, maybe, 30 mins

I think that 12AM run store has opened as The Linq is now open. Might have to check that that shit out.

You don't even realize you're contradicting yourself. If a retro is on the site for more than 10 minutes a bot isn't the problem. Because you can click on that link or refresh and check out within 5 minutes.

Bots are people with multiple windows who use the bot to add to cart for the person who bought their service or buying to resell. For example the Kobe prelude packs, which were gone instantaneously as soon as the twitter link dropped. That was due to early link people and bots.

People aren't doing it for general release kicks. Who is buying a RSVP for $25 to $50 for a pair of sneakers that can be had for less than $220? Some, but not many.

And the spa page, there is no bot for Finishline. That's just the amount of people hitting the site at one time.

Eastbay/Footaction/Footlocker/Champs allocates a few sneakers at a time in waves to protect their site from crashing during the check out process. That's why you have to keep clicking until it finally adds to cart. Some people will end up clicking for an hour.

The problem with general release kicks is the demand itself, not the bot. Bots are a problem when it comes to limited kicks because the bots are getting what they get and everyone else fights for leftovers. Even bots fail with limited kicks.

If you wanted the III's, VI's or X's you got them.

:dunno: You're out of touch, plain and simple. The only other forum I frequent besides this one is niketalk. Part of the reason Nike even bothered addressing the bot issue is because people were abusing it and using it for every release.

As I asked before, have you tried to purchase anything from NDC or are you just guessing? If you have a connect that you go to for kicks and they always hold you down then just say that, it's that or you're delusional.

Out of touch

I got my Kobe Maestros from NDC :hmm: Which was helped by it not being TLO.

I don't have to use NDC for general release kicks, because I go to the mall and enter a raffle or two or I will do like I did on Saturday. Get to the mall 15-30 mins early and wait for them to open. Especially if the weather isn't bad. I normally do that when it's a last minute decision like for the powder blues or the III's. Plus it's a good way to hear information.

People were using bots for every release, yes, but a bot isn't stopping you from getting a sneaker that isn't twitter link only that sits up there for 20 minutes.

We agree to disagree then fam :dunno: I know 3 people who was on that site on or before 8am and came up empty handed

Straight fuck sauce

Opinion respected but I honestly don't get it. These 3s are a simple and generic CW that's just slightly different than the 88s. Had the basic design of the shoe been changed I'll get it but we're talking about the CW? Someone enlighten me. These aren't weatherman 3s...

It doesn't make sense.

It's one of the best retro+ colorways released.

It's a whole lot better than the jokers, infrared and powder blues.

Plus the quality is actually pretty good on these.

I'm tempted but I just dropped $270 on foams last weekend.

I feel this mans pain. Did the same but Bought them any way.
Also has any one else ordered from footlocker and had the order held up till you called?

May need to see those kobes in person cuz in pics they ugly as shit, look like the undertaker should be wearing them at wrestlemania.

Consider yourself lucky that you're getting shoes from NDC. I struck out on all Kobe's except the Perspectives and the Aunt Pearl's. I can't remember the last time I was actually able to get a pair of shoes from there.

Go to NikeTalk and hear about all of the people who strikeout on all of the releases. It's not as easy as you make it sound.
