Similar type of players, but Melo tends to have worse shot selection.. The key to being OKC is to make KD a high volume shooter, something he is not naturally (the more he shoots the less effective OKC becomes).. Melo on the other hand is a born high volume shooter and if he gets hot he can really roast you..

here is what I dont understand about coaches based on what you hear on the sidelines.
Mchale should be in his squad's ears telling them attack OKC off the dribble. You may get stripped sometimes, but you force them to either foul, collapse and suck the defender from the corner

I think its more like 2 basic defenses
Scott Brooks has yet to stop Houston and asik in the pick n roll, and Houston refuses to play defense or close out okc possession and get the defensive rebound

Drive and shoot or drive and kick. Everytime Houston runs up the score, they are doing one or the other.
and anytime fisher is on the court, you have to clear and go at him. He cant get any of those houston guards in front of him.

You notice that since KD went to the bench and even when he returned to the game, where he isn't touching the ball hardly at all, that OKC are playing much better...Plus they are not doubling up on him yet they are still containing him.. Imagine what those other guys would be doing if you were to double KD.

OKC are hitting their shots now allowing their defense to set up thus preventing Houston the fast break opportunities..
OKC's defense made some adjustments, they're switching on everything. Martin and Jackson came to play tonight too

They don't seem to really get into x and o in those glances in the huddle....they either not trying to get into strategy too much for scouting purposes, or these guys are more game/situation managers than coaches

No different than game 5. Did you watch game 5? The only difference between this one and that one is that they are making shots that they were missing in game 5. And it's helping them two-fold because it's decreasing the Houston transition points.

What game are you watching? They aren't going through KD now. KD has two attempts in the last 7 minutes and is hardly touching the rock.

He's that over-excited dude that you play against that inadvertently hurts people. When I see dudes like that in pick-up games I resign myself to knowing I'm going to catch an elbow or at worst case a sprained ankle.
