The Official Indiana Pacers vs New York Knicks Thread

explain man

Remember what Larry Bird said after he quit. There is no way a small market team could compete with the big market team. Remember what he said when Ray Allen took less money to join the heat.

Now Larry Bird was pissed because he wanted to give Hibbert an extension back in September of 2011 but the Owners didn't want to. They allowed him to get to the free agent market and The Blazers threw a max contract at him that they had to match.

Long story short David West is a free agent this season. Unrestricted. Lance, Danny and Paul are free agents in 2014. Paul makes an all nba team next week :itsawrap::itsawrap::itsawrap:

He qualifies for the supermax 80-95 million over 5 years. They gave Hill a new contract last summer 5 years 40 million. (The reason the Spurs traded him to the Pacers for Leonard was to avoid paying him)

Basically they will not be able to keep this team together. Think OKC but making less money. This is why Danny Granger will likely be moved and either Lance or David will be a causality.

Larry Bird put a hell of a team together, wins executive of the year and under the new CBA he will be forced to break the team up.

Got damn fucking shame

Refs not even trying to disguise their bs this year. Just think about the blatant shit that happened for the Lakers and against other teams this year. So sad.

On the real if the Pacers win this, the Heat going to sweep. Without the zebras on their side this would be ugly.

The Knicks blew their ref goodwill all season by constant bitching by Tyson and JR. Amazing..

He just needs to blame his boss. He got penalized for doing his job. Just like the okc drafting department did theirs.
gilbert spread so much fear in those meetings they bit their own noses off. they couldn't understand that misery loves company.

gilbert got in there saying this will happen to you too, i treated lebron like a son, i gave him everything and he left me. and it's going to happen to you too.

and the owners said oh no we gotta keep this from happening to us too and fucked themselves.

NOW
going into the 3rd year of the new cba all of the teams that stayed patient, did their job and drafted and groomed talent and are poised to make runs...

are gonna be with Gilbert shortly MISERABLE.

and gilbert couldn't be happier :D

man did you see when he hit felton?

lmao...it was like frank gore on the goalline package

this shit is insane

it really is. shit is CLEAR. you know I'm no knick fan or hater. this is crazy out here. Lance playing on the playground

The defender is not set. you have to move your feet and receive the charge. You also have to be ready to receive the pain.

he getting ran over. you can't do that period. don't matter if you set or not. lowered shoulder= charge.

This is reminds me of Portland vs Lakers... and Sac vs Lakers... :smh:

It's a damn shame... When you WISH JOEY CRAWFORD WAS WORKING THE GAME... :smh:

:yes::yes::yes:

Exactly. Gilbert knows under this new CBA he will have Kyrie for at least 7-9 years.

What's hilarious is Gilbert feels the owners lost.

You have owners like Gilbert MJ and the Blazers owners feeling the players won and you have owners like Cuban who hates this new CBA.

All but certain in 3 years we will have another lockout.

Looking at this pacers team. Bird did a great job assembling this team.

Granger is gone.

Kyrie will not be in Cleveland for 7-9 years by any means

yea lost his job to injury. can't afford him.

though it didn't make sense.

if i gave you $180 million to hire employees to do a job and you fucked it up for 9 years straight

why would i blame the employees?

I think David West is gone this year unless the Pacers come out of pocket. Only reason he sign with the Pacers was there was no interest for him because he tore his acl. He was looking for a big pay day and had to settle for a 2yr 20 million contract. This will be his last to cash in

true but he's fighting through it.
he's playing like you need your star to play in an elimination game.
FINALLY

the point is the refs are stopping runs before they even start

thats what gets the other dudes going

like melo just had a clean strip and they called a foul

they stopped an easy layup to get someone else going :smh::smh::smh:
