You can't build no team around a nigga like JR Smith. At his age he's gonna get a similar deal. I don't think its the Pacers but David West while a solid player he's a 8-10 mill a year guy. And he's early 30's.....Only way I see Pacers bring him back is if he signs another 2 year deal.
I think the refs are really doing everything to stop the Knicks. Look at that BS Tech they called on JR. But honestly, I don't think we can win with melo. This team relies too much on isos. Why do we have the best 3 point threat in the NBA sitting on the bench? Because when he is out there, the ball movement is soo stagnant he can't even get shots. I even think Tyson is sick of it. I wouldn't be surprised if he asked to be traded this summer. You can't win with no ball movement. Lin isn't better than felton, but he cared about the quick ball movement and pick and rolls. I haven't seen the Knicks create spacing all series. Of course I would love to see them pull this win off but realistically I think they are playing on fumes.

He will likely look for a 3 yr deal with a 4 year either being a player option or to be fair early termination (similar to Paul Pierce and Vince Carter where the team can cancel the contract for 5 million in the final year.)
