The Official Houston Rockets Pursuit Thread

Now that's more like it.

I'm one of those cats who think preseason is overrated but it looks like the Rockets needed all the key players to be in those preseason games. They still trying to feel each other out and get the chemistry working. Lawson had his best game so far.

Much better effort and performance tonight.

The pieces are there just need a little time to gel

finally, happy to be off the schnide....happy to see Harden come out his lil slump and go of for 37...

Rockets damn near lost this game against Orlando:smh: Harden still struggling with his shot, T-Jones still hurt and Beverly left the game with an illness.

The chemistry still isn't all the way there yet but hopefully things will start to gel once everybody's healthy.

Dwight had a monster game bro you can see he's definitely a plus player when he's out there. Dude went for 23 and 14, didn't miss a shot. I noticed too they call a lot of touch fouls on him and when he goes to the bench things just go haywire.

Harden shot isn't there but that damn Ty Lawson gotta take his fuckin shot! Too many times he passed on wide open shots and I'm like  SHIT SHOOT THE FUCKIN BALL!

Offensive continuity isn't there these guys still have to gel. They'll will look much better around January...

Yeah Howard was our savior tonight on both ends. Lawson had a nice game too, he gotta stay on the attack getting in the lane.

I just don't like how they been playing defensively lately. They can get away with it against a team like Orlando but not against the better teams. We'll be alright though.... better to work out the kinks at the beginning of the season than later.

Real good win tonight against the Clippers, playing second of a back to back

No Chris Paul but fuck it we got a lot of key players missing. Austin Rivers is hot garbage :smh:

Howard and Harden both went slap the fuck off against the paper clips

Harden pulled a drake going back to back with 40 point games and D12 had excellent vision with his 20/20 game. Thornton continues to impress as a stater and TBH i wouldn't fuck with the chemistry in that starting 5 by moving him to the bench when one of our 4's gets healthy.

Good SOLID win tonight against a bitch ass team that are still the fuckin clippers

How the fuck you lose to the 0-7 Nets?

Brooklyn out rebounded us big time tonight and McHale still wanted to go small when he had T-Jones back. I swear this guy kills me with not making any adjustments in the second half.

Man the offense still looks lost overall and they have no defense awareness on the perimeter :smh: They played way better defense last year.

The last two games we won was kinda like fool's gold with Harden putting up 40+ points. If you take out those 2 games, he's struggling to find his shot this season and he's not going to go off like that every night. It's still early but I don't like the chemistry with Lawson on the court. I would like to see him run the offense more and move Harden around. They basically playing the same scheme on offense as last year even though they brought in Lawson to be a play maker and take the load off Harden :smh:

:hmm:

:smh:

Spider, it ain't looking good bro. These Rockets resurrected Raymond Felton from the dead and made dude look like an all star tonight. I'm bout to go to a nearby spot and get some Henessy after watching this garbage of a team.

I smelled the FUCKERY a mile away and rather than watch that game and kill off the entire jar of moonshine i got i decided to not even watch it....

Like i said in the main nba thread 6 seed is where we will likely end up. And hopefully that should be enough to get mchale fired

:hmm:

Heads need start rolling now. I can't even blame McHale anymore. The players not giving any effort on defense. They looking at each other confused on defense. Too many back door cuts and missed defensive assignments. I gotta call out Harden too, dude has been terrible guarding his man this season and not boxing guards out :smh:

Well this win wasn't pretty but I like how Bickerstaff made some adjustments. He didn't start Lawson and made Harden go in the post in the second half. That's what I want to see, in game adjustments...

Ugly, but I'll take it.

That first game against Portland JB didn't have a practice or walk thru before that game. I think as he gets more time with the team he'll begin putting his stamp on the team.

Ty Lawson played little over two minutes the whole night :smh: This team is a mess and it ain't all on Harden. If Harden gives you 40 points (12-19 shooting and you lose at home (again) by almost 10, there's some serious chemistry issues going on. Morey needs to shake up this roster big time, everybody but Harden and Howard can be moved.

I'm glad that our 1st round pick we gave to Denver for Lawson is lottery protected because this team is a lottery team right now..

Looks like things are turning in the right direction winning 5 out of the last 6. D-Mo is back too so that will help.

Bickerstaff looks to have just needed a little time with the team. I like his rotations, i like Capella starting, and i like that he'll stop a teams run by calling a time out or using a time out to get on his team when they start slipping defensively.

As of now only Golden State is running away in the West. Everyone else can be caught. It's a long season so these dudes just need to FOCUS. i think JB will do a better job than mchale did in the long run

Maaaannnnn, I would love to see an upset. I live in da town and would be riding around with a Harden jersey red flaggin on warrior fans
