clearly you never heard about the Apple Macbook fiasco with the screen or the nintendo DS case cracking problems which both companies told people to suck it. as for the links they were in response to your statement that no recent product has ever had as bad an issue like this before i'm trying to explain to you this shit happens all the time to everybody. if you are scared don't buy a xbox :dunno:

Nigga why are you underlining and bolding that shit like I fukkin said that...damn now niggas is just lying...the only product I spoke about in this thread was 360/PS3...I don't know what your definiton of gamer is...I'ved own a Genesis, Game Gear, Gameboy, PSOne, PS2 and a PSP...and I bought and played games for them occasionally...what more do you want...?

for fucks sake dude calm down, i said it before i'll say it again if you are so worried about fail rates even though they are under warranty and for the most part been addressed in the new systems don't buy one :cool:

I don't plan on buying one...more than likely I'll end up with a PS3...and I never had any issues with any of the consoles I had...nor heard about issues about any of them on a high level...

final fantasy belongs to SE so its up for grabs. God of War is owned by sony just like MS owns Halo.

MS is cleaning up with the third party. if it cant own it, it will time exclusive it, if it cant due that it will DLC it.



Sony needs to really kick into gear its first party games.

Microsoft, Bungie Make Breakup Official

Turns out the rumors were true.

Confirming suspicions from earlier this week, Microsoft announced today they have released Bungie Studios "to embark on a path to become an independent company." The studio will remain in its Kirkland, Washington offices and maintain a strong publishing relationship with Microsoft.

As expected, Microsoft retains all rights to the Halo franchise, but Bungie will remain involved in overseeing the development of current (Halo Wars, the Peter Jackson collaboration) and future Halo titles. That doesn't, however, necessarily mean they'll be on Halo 4 or whatever Microsoft plots next for the franchise. With $300 million in the bank on the first week alone, the Halo IP isn't going anywhere.

"This exciting evolution of our relationship with Microsoft will enable us to expand both creatively and organizationally in our mission to create world-class games," said Bungie studio head Harold Ryan in the press release. "We will continue to develop with our primary focus on Microsoft's platforms; we greatly value our mutually prosperous relationship with our publisher, Microsoft Game Studios, and we look forward to continuing that affiliation through Halo and beyond."

This works out well for both parties. 1UP learned much of the disagreement between the two companies was derived from intense deadlines that frustrated Bungie. Instead of creative folks jumping ship and leaving Microsoft with a crippled Bungie, the studio gets creative independence and Microsoft keeps their flagship developer. It's a smart business move on Microsoft's part.

In a sense, they still own Bungie -- or at least the part that matters: the games.
 
So MS basically took features that Sony either had or were about to introduce and released them as new features before they had a chance... Cold blooded.
 
No real surprises (yes i know about the FFXIII sharing)
Its like they copied from everyone else. No games to look forward to after GOW2 that sony doesnt have.
I mean that acting shit on the couch was embarrassing to watch :(.
Wii/sony got copied-hard.
NetFlix announcement was good, even though ya'll say 'its all about the games'
Its like they transformed from a gaming machine to a family hub over night.


I'd rate the Microsoft press conference a 6/10.

I'm not even a gamer and I can pretty much say nothing...how does this E3 thing work...each company get a day to showoff...? I take it yesterday was MS, today is Nintendo...so Sony go tomorrow...?

That Wii Music was terrible, everybody was all off beat and shit.

Nintendo is really pimping those mini-games. One has to wonder how long it'll go on before grandma is tired of Cooking Mama. :smh:
