He really exposed some of the DNC fraudster trading in bad public policy for lucrative deals with foreign entities. I won't name names or divulge their schemes, but some of these deals they got after leaving office lining their pockets is laughable. They need to increase their pay with the public, not running to other countries to funnel money to them.

A classic was Kwame Kilpatrick former Detroit mayor who was linked to some murder of a stripper that was just reporting something unrelated to his corruption but would have brought heat onto him.

We have also seen over zealous reporters having mishaps when they did investigative reporting pieces internationally, such as Gary Webb unrelated to their corruption. I suspect Julian Assange made them nervous resulting in his detainment and false rape accusations. Just appearing like you might uncover shit could get you killed or imprisoned.

The U.S. was starting to go full blown corrupt government and bribes like these third world countries. It was even affecting people setting up businesses like me, I am looking at other countries.

Trump Pleads The 5th Amendment In Deposition By NY Attorney Generals Office

The New York Attorney General's office released video of a deposition given by Donald Trump last August in its civil fraud investigation against the former president.

Trump opened the deposition clarifying past public statements that he intended not to use his constitutional protection against providing self-incriminating statements, now instead saying "anyone in my position not taking the Fifth Amendment would be a fool, an absolute fool."

He proceeded to decline answers to all questions, repeating the phrase "same answer," all while appearing to closely examine documents handed to him by state attorneys.

New York Attorney General Letitia James later sued Trump and the Trump Organization, saying it misled banks and tax authorities about the value of assets like golf courses and skyscrapers to get loans and tax benefits.

That lawsuit, which is pending, could lead to civil penalties against the company if the Democratic attorney general prevails. She wants $250 million and a ban on Trump doing business in New York.

In the meantime, a judge has appointed an independent monitor to watch the company.

Trump loses bid to countersue rape accuser E. Jean Carroll, judge rules in scathing decision

Dan Mangan

Former President Donald Trump on Friday lost his effort to be allowed to countersue and seek financial damages from the writer E. Jean Carroll, who accuses him of raping her years ago in a New York City department store.

In his scathing decision rejecting Trump's effort, Manhattan federal court Judge Lewis Kaplan said there is good reason to believe that the request is a delaying tactic by the former president to further stall Carroll's defamation lawsuit against him.

Maddow highlights the Nazi speakers welcomed to Trump Doral Miami event this week

Sarah K. Burris
May 08, 2023

MSNBC host Rachel Maddow began her Monday show with a list of pro-Nazi speakers that are being welcomed to the Trump Hotel in Miami for an event where a number of former White House officials will also be speaking.

A former national security adviser, a former U.S. trade chief, a former Pentagon chief of staff and a former acting attorney general are all appearing at the same confab with those who have promoted Nazi ideology — and in some cases — Hitler himself.

"This week all of those people I just mentioned, literally, the guy who was the attorney general of the United States and the chief of staff and the national security adviser and the White House trade chief, all the rest of these guys with these very high-up jobs, this week, all of them are speaking at the same event in Miami. An event at a hotel owned by the former president. It will include all those Trump administration officials as well as the former president's adult son, Eric, the blond one, his daughter-in-law, plus a lot of Trump administration folks."

But it's the neo-Nazis that will be joining the Trump acolytes that might be new faces to the rest of America.

Scott McKay is a guy who blamed "the Jews" for killing Abraham Lincoln and William McKinley will speak at the event with Trump administration officials. He'll be welcomed to the podium to speak before the former White House staffers.

Far-right commentator, Charlie Ward is another one joining the event. He is known for sharing actual videos of speeches by Hitler and proclaiming that Sept. 11 was a secret plot by "the Jews." He also believes the Earth is flat and that President Joe Biden and Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett are lizard people.

The event is part of Michael Flynn's new Christian nationalismcult.

The group's co-founder told a recent QAnon audience that he's excited to be embraced by Donald Trump's inner circle and family members like Eric and Lara Trump.

“It's exciting … that Trump's inner circle is now going, they're all reaching out to our tour, to the ReAwaken America tour, to Gen. Flynn, to myself, to Kash Patel. And they're all saying, hey, can we come to the tour?" Clark beamed according to Media Matters.

'Trump can't win': Koch network releases ads targeting ex-president

The ads argue a Trump nomination in 2024 would effectively give President Joe Biden a second term.

Brian Schwartz
PUBLISHED MON, JUN 12 2023 5:08 PM EDT

The political network financed largely by billionaire Charles Koch is launching a wave of digital ads targeting former President Donald Trump.

The ads argue that if Trump becomes the Republican nominee next year, it will lead to President Joe Biden winning reelection.

Americans for Prosperity Action, a super PAC that received millions of dollars during the 2022 election cycle from the Charles Koch-chaired Koch Industries and the Koch-backed Stand Together Chamber of Commerce, gave CNBC a first look at some of the new digital ads.

Koch, who's worth more than $60 billion, and his network notched several wins while Trump was in office, including tax cuts and the appointments of multiple conservative Supreme Court justices. The network traditionally backs Republican candidates.

But Koch's group also had its differences with the former president, including on Trump's trade war with China. Trump, likewise, ripped the Kochs in a 2018 tweet tirade, saying they've become a "total joke in real Republican circles, are against Strong Borders and Powerful Trade."

One of the spots, titled "Only Way," has a voiceover saying, "The only way Biden wins is if we nominate Trump again." Another ad, called "No Thanks," says, "Trump can't win" and "we need new leadership."

A third clip, named "Biden's Secret Weapon," says: "What's Biden's secret weapon? Donald Trump as the GOP nominee. Biden wins the White House and gets the House and Senate, too."

Americans for Prosperity Action was active during the 2022 midterm elections and could be on the precipice of exceeding their historic spending spree last cycle. Federal Election Commission records show the super PAC so far this cycle has spent over $300,000 on independent expenditures opposing Trump and Biden.

The PAC finished the 2022 election cycle spending almost $70 million, with their three top candidates being former Georgia Republican Senate candidate Herschel Walker, Sen. Ron Johnson, R-Wis., and former Pennsylvania Republican Senate candidate Mehmet Oz. All three were also endorsed by Trump.

All of the Koch digital ads cite public polling that say how key voters don't want Trump to be president again. Many of those same polls also show that many voters don't want Biden to run for a second term, either. An NBC News poll taken in April shows that 70% of those polled say Biden shouldn't run for reelection, with another 60% saying Trump shouldn't run.

These ads, according to Americans for Prosperity Action spokesman Bill Riggs, are targeting voters in the key early primary and caucus states Iowa, South Carolina, New Hampshire and Nevada. Riggs noted that the new ad buys come after Americans for Prosperity CEO Emily Seidel said in a February memo to staff and activists that it would support a GOP candidate for president other than Trump.

"We made clear in February that Washington is broken and our country is in a downward spiral because of it. To write a new chapter for the country, we need to turn the page on the past – and that requires new leadership," Riggs said in an emailed statement. He added that the Koch-backed group has not made a decision on who it plans to support in the Republican primary for president.

Recent data from Morning Consult shows Trump with 56% of support in the Republican primary, with Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis trailing with 22% of the vote.

The ads are also targeting voters at a tumultuous moment for Trump. He faces arraignment Tuesday in a federal criminal case over his retention of classified and top secret military and government documents. Trump has referred to the case as the "boxes hoax."

Stange as it may sound, there are many similarities between him and what President Trump is going through with these criminal prosecutions. They were attempting to do the right thing; not effeminately responding to this issue being a man. President Trump I could be wrong but who knows, but there is definitely funny biz with Carlos Ghosn.

I have the inside story, linking the two. It looks like somebody is trying to silence them up.

What if somebody led an insurrection after being elected to stop slavery in 1780? They could have instituted the 14th Amendment to prevent this type of scenario where somebody elected by popular vote leads an insurrection against the government. I think President Lincoln speaking openly against slavery provoking the South to cede could have been an 'insurrection' to use the military to rid slavery.

We can through popular vote put somebody into office that could lead an insurrection against the 'government'; that can neutralize the surveillance state, military, and police state. Why revolt against a pro-regime politician that uses all these mechanism to suppress the uprising?

Thousands of people died or were disappeared in this uprising because it was a dictatorship. A democratic government, the election of somebody through popular vote could enact the same thing, with little bloodshed.

McCarthy Says He Told Trump ‘F-ck You’ After Speakership Ouster: Report

The Washington Post reported on Thursday that Trump and McCarthy spoke on the phone after the latter’s ouster, and that the call … did not go well. Trump reported explained to McCarthy why he didn’t step in and convince the eight rogue Republicans to get in line, while criticizing him for failing to have his two impeachments expunged or endorsing his 2024 campaign.
