I heard the Bulls are trying to get PF Rasheed Wallace in for a workout. He can still give us 7pts and 6rbs off the bench in limited minutes plus his 3pt ability. If this works out and he can be calm on the floor and play through terrible NBA refs then this would be a plus for the Bulls come playoff time. Rasheed can basically provide that Kurt Thomas role plus he is still 37, there are guys his age and older still playing. Why not?

I can't see Rasheed fitting within this system. He's too hot headed, we don't need that messing with the chemistry of the team. He's not worth the headaches and technical fouls that he brings.

Yeah I could see Noah (who hasn't been as hot-headed as he's been in the past, and even then, that wasn't often) catching Wallace's temper and letting it affect his.

The same can be said about one of Miami's star players(D Wade in this case) and the Knicks without Carmelo in their respective lineups. Rose will be okay just can't rest it properly because of the schedule so he may miss a game here and there. We won a game with 5'9 John Lucas playing 40 minutes but if it is long term it could present a problem.

Rip does not have to be great. He is still enough of a threat to keep teams honest. You have to remember we had Keith Bogans who averaged an awesome 4.4 pts a game. Rip can give us 13-18 a night still.

Sloppy game by us. Our defense was off, we let them score too much. Our best games are when we keep our opponents under 100 points. They got more rebounds than us. We definitely missed Rose (Rip, too) but him not playing wasn't the reason we lost, even though Conley did take advantage of not being defended by Rose scoring 24 pts.

Memphis has a nice roster. They got one of the better benches in the league, along with OKC and Indiana, so I'm not surprised/mad they won this one.

Grizzlies got some payback.

Watson, Gibson and Deng looked good offensively & defensively......but there was no help from anyone when it was time to score consistent shots.

Derrick was out. The Bulls said it was because of a sprained toe, but I think its turf toe.

I think they should let Derrick sit the next game as well. We should be able to beat the Suns. If they sit him then he can rest for the next 3 days.

We have the deepest team in the NBA.

Up next we have the Cavs. The Cavs look a lot better than they did last year.

The Bulls should sit Derrick again for this next one. Or maybe the next two imho. We want people as healthy as they can be for the playoffs.

He should be back in time to play against the Heat on Sunday, the 29th.

No need to rush because all next week, we'll be playing teams on the lower half of the Eastern Conference, the Nets, the Bucks, and the Bobcats. The Pacers, who we play next Wednesday will probably be our toughest match-up until the Heat game.
