So am I the only one whose been observing this guy in Spain? I don't know where the fuck this dude came from but ever since the draft last summer, I've been hearing about this dude beasting on dudes.

Dude is only 20 and some people are already compared him to a young pre-NBA Dirk.

Shit this dude is a beast. Hard to gauge how tall he is. By his post up game I'd say 6'9-10 but when he lays it up he gets so little air i wanna say 6'5 but still dude is a great shooter and has a great post up game, non NBA or not. Cant' wait to see him. If he can play the 2 after Rip is gone that will be something nice or even if he's a 3 or 4
 
Mirotic is 6'7 3/4 bare foot 6'9 in shoes. He is athletic for a Euro and has decent ups. He is doing well because he has a very aggressive demeanor. Secondly, he wont be over until after next season. This is cool as Deng's contract will be ending and we have to keep talent around Derrick.

Also, Jimmy Butler is a good prospect that needs polishing. As I have been saying, Asik is a coveted prospect w/ big upside. Defensively, he is good enough to start on 12-15 teams. He hasnt got a chance to workout due to his leg injury, once he get his legs under him we will see more for him.

We will also get a 1st from Charlotte in the next four years.

Some see Nikola as a replacement for Boozer at PF but I'm sure he'll be playing both positions during games.
 
i like our chances just having rip on the floor, it's easy to see how other teams have to account for him, but i don't think we will know anything until about 20-25 games in

I started to make a thread after seeing two terrible threads...(Knicks and Heat)
but i figured Id let our game do the talking. And so far it has. 40 point beat down of a good team today. Bench played great again. Asik was decent. I think he will be a major factor iin the playoffs.

Our 1 loss was vs a team that we've had problems with for a few years now (Warriors) We had problems with them last year.....but we got revenge later in the season.

BTW.....something is wrong with RIP (injury?) Id like to see Jimmy Butler get some time if RIP cant play in the future. Also Watson is out. He got one of those injuries that Rondo got in the playoffs last year. He may be out for a few weeks. John Lucas wil replace him. I think the Bulls should sign a back up PG. Watson was a good replacement when Rose needed rest. He was the only player last year that could create his own shot besides Rose. I dont know much about Lucas. So yeah....sign a PG.

I don't really fuck with the Bulls but I'm a huge D Rose fan. I like the way the young man conducts himself.
 
We are off to a good start. Ran memphis out of the gym. Did not see that coming. Waiting to see how the condensed schedule is handled. Hopefully the team can stay healthy all season.

Yeah I almost didn't make one because everybody else was making threads but I also didn't want to bump last season's thread because of all the bullshit. So I decided if I was gone do one, I was gone do it more formally than all the other ones.

I'd like to Butler get put in, too. I don't think Rip will really start flowing with the offense until after All-Star break. I don't remember how Lucas plays, so I won't write him off either, but I do think they should pick up an extra player. I was actually mad when the Suns picked up Michael Redd.

The first half of the Hawks game was hard to watch, especially Noah. He looked bad out there tonight. But that was a good comeback and win seeing as we had no CJ and no Rip.

:smh: I have no idea.

I like Asik as a defender, rebounder, middle clogger. But he has NO offensive skills to speak of.

Noah needs to be out there because his offensive IQ, and skills are too high at his position to be on the bench. But he picks up allot of dumbass fouls. Yeah some are ticky tack, but there are allot of times he reaches for no reason.

Booz while playing so much better this season ist a fit... Hes slow on rotations, a black hole on offense, no energy. But he has a skillset you want so you have to play him. Soft touch around the rim, good midrange J, decent rebounder, great pick and roll with Rose.

Good comeback tonight. Rose and Deng balled out. Its a confidence builder even though ATL turned into ATL to lose it for themselves.

Rose is shooting 3s now!!!:D Not just making a few, hes a legitimate 3pt shooter now. Korver...:smh:
 
FYI...I know Watson and RIP didnt play tonight...but usually when they Bulls play like shit is usually because of match up problems. The team that I saw tonight I also saw last season. They play like a championship type team one night..then shit the following night. But they stil finds ways to win...and thats whats important.

They played like shit during the first 3 quarters, but in the last quarter played like the team that they are. Not so much about how you start, SOMETIMES, but how you finish.

That was a great play call by Tom Tibby using D Rose as a Decoy so Deng could get the game winning shot.

Asik had a good game despite the low point total.

Deng is looking more and more like that #2 guy that the Bulls need. Most underrated player in the NBA imho.

Boozer and Noah....well same ol same ol imho. They dont play well together and when theyre playing solo theyre not consistent enough. Noah hasnt really found his stride since early last regular season.


Its still early, but I expect them to get it together before the playoffs...so im not tripping just yet. But if the bs continues, especially from Boozer, then I think the Bulls need to consider signing another big man. I also think that need to sign another PG. When Watson is hurt....the we're basically left with one player that can create a shot.

Record now 6-1

Rose did his usual. Deng didnt do much scoring but was great defensively...like usual.

Good to see Boozer ( 19points 7boards ) and Noah (13points 11boards 2blks ) finally have a good game.

RIP also had a decent game with scoring in double digits. It fun seeing him and Rose run the court together. RIP moves great without the ball and he's also a good passer. We had almost 30 assist tonight.

Also it looks like Brewer is trying to develop himself in to a scoring option. He is more so known for his defense...but lately he's actually been scoring more baskets than usual. Which is a good thing considering he's coming off the best bench in the league.

I stil think we need to sign a PG and another big Man. Asik is great defensively...but offensively..:smh:

Also....Id like to see Noah and Boozer play better together....if not...then like i stated last season...Tom Tibby needs to play them separately. Last season both of them were in beats mode when the other wasnt on the floor.



Next up is the Magic. Theyre 5-2 ...i think. But I think we'll handle them.
After that we have the Hawks again. But then after we got a tough schedule.
Starting Monday we'll play 7 games in 9 days. Hope Tom manages our starters mins accordingly. We dont need Deng and Rose playing 45+ mins in each of those games.

On point as usual. Rose and Rip gave us a sample of how good the backcourt will be (once Rip gets settled in) yesterday.
 
In a little over an hour we face the 3rd place Magic.
Theyre 5-2
Game will be on ESPN.

Last year when we first played them thet gave us one of our worst losses of the season. They whipped our asses but almost 30 I think. Lets hope tonight aint the same.


BTW...i stil think we need another big man. The only big Man that we have to relieving either Noah or Boozer is Asik. Sure wish Kurt Thomas wouldve stayed. But he's now with the Blazers....and theyre looking pretty good.

We need another big man and a PG.
I think we''ll sign someone before the trade deadline.

should be a good game, rose haven't been killing it lately(not having those outrageous night) and y'all are still winning, huge plus i think....
