is d rose the jeremy lin of the bulls. these niccas looked horrible without rose on the floor

this is how you know how big a story Lin is when that comparison is made

Kris Humphries went off.

It seems that it was an off night for the bulls shooters and maybe they didnt play up to their usual defensive standards

I am waiting for the game to download

Good win for the Bulls considering the BS that happened two days ago. But hey...after winning all those games without Rose....a crash like that was expected sooner than later.

Bulls: 90
ATL: 79

Rose was obviously no 100%. Especially in the forth. But he was healthy enough to do what he does..so Im content with that. The rest during the All Star break wil be good for him. Hopefully Tom Tibby wont play him much in the AllStar game ..that is if he does play. For some reason I think Rose wil miss that game and Lin will take his spot.

Anyways....I dont have much to type about this one....just read the stats and see who did good and who didnt. But I will type that some of the Bulls players look much better when Rose is on the floor attracting most of the attention. Especially a player like Brewer.. If the other Bulls players could be more consistent with their scoring then the Bulls would be unstoppable! But due to inconsistencies... when Rose kicks the ball out....either the shot wil be made or the shot wil missed. When the playoffs start ...those shots wil need to be made...if not..then I think we'll have an early exit.

Next up:

Bucks

Im looking forward to seeing if the Bulls wil sign a player after the All Star break. James wil be off the Roster so one spot wil be open. IMO we need a big man.

I also hope we dont cool down after the break.

Also....RIP needs to get his ass back on the court. After the break we only have about 31 games before the playoffs. This mofo hasnt played no more than 5 games with he Bulls since he's been here. And due to the bs schedule we havent been able to practice together much off the court either.

We all need to be on the same page if we wont to make a push for a title.

BULLS!!!!!!!!!!!!

no summary for today's game. Just look at the stats.

Congrats to Noah for getting the first triple double of his career.

A first half grade for my Bulls....I give them an "A". We got the most hectic part of our schedule early on and handled it EXTREMELY well. Despite injuries to key players, hardly any practice and a bs schedule...the Bulls have persevered and now have a first half record of 27-8.

Some things that Ive noticed from the first half. The Bulls are less dependent on Rose compared to last year. Theyve looked like shit at times when Rose was out, but they stil found ways to win or stay close in games. Even when Rose is on the floor he doesnt have to do as much as he did last year, on the scoring end, in order for us to win. Rose has basically just been attracting attention and kicking the ball out to an open player...then that player kicks the ball out to another player and then we make shots. The reason why we're the #1 assisting team is the league is because we have great ball movement. Hence the reason why our half court offense looks good most times than not.

Another thing that Ive noticed, especially over the last month, is how great Noah and Boozer have looked together. Boozer was a better scorer in Utah when D. Williams and other players used to make the right moves in order to get Boozer involved. Noah has played the role of facilitator, making Vlade Divac type passes, hence helping Boozer score easier baskets.

What we need to do for the second half....?
Stop making so many turnovers and be more consistent with our scoring. Today we had about 20 turnovers...but stil won by almost 20. If we make 20 turnovers vs a team like the Thunder or Heat (i.e. a team that scores a lot of their point in fast breaks) ....im sure the outcome wont be us winning by 20.,....it'll probably be us losing by 20.

I also think the Bulls need to sign a big man. At first I was against signing Rasheed Wallace...but now I think the Bulls need a "Rasheed" type player. IMO...most of our big Men are "kind" and play kinda soft considering their size. IMO...we need more toughness. We need someone to play the role that Kurt Thomas played last year.

btw....RIP needs to get on the floor asap. All that sitting ....then waiting to play two weeks before the playoffs aint gonna cut it. He needs to get comfortable with his new teammates.

The second half wil be much tougher than the first....considering our opponents. I look forward to the challenge! We need to be tested before the playoffs begin.

BULLS!!!!

Time for the second half stretch. Break over.

Going foward I want to see the Bulls healthy. Don't fully know what we the fans have until the Bulls get everyone back. They said Rip should be ready to go:yes:. Still want to Bulls to add another big. PF or C does not matter.

BULLS

who would you want?

I want to see what Etan Thomas can do. He's big - 6'10, 260. He looks strong. Blocks and gets rebounds. I read he's pretty good in the post (limited moves but strong), which would be awesome for second-chance points. I think Thibbs could make him a threat on defense.

Great win tonight in San Antonio:dance::dance::dance:

I agree with Piffen, Etan Thomas would be a good pick up for the Bulls.

Very good win. I wish we would stop bull shittin in the 3rd quarter. That should be the time to go for the throat.

Etan would be a good fit, he could fill that Kurt Thomas spot that we are missing.

Thibbs don't fucking play. When Duncan beat Boozer down the floor he was done for the night. Sharpie Shoe Polish dome did not see the floor in the 4th. He is clearly a weak link defensively.

WTF are they gonna do if they dont resign Taj??? When Booz is going offensively hes worth what he lacks on D. But you never know when thats gonna be!!! If Taj leaves whos gonna step in next season???

I wanna know what the deal with Rip is??? Why is he only playing a half. Is he healthy or not??? The team is so much harder to guard when hes on the floor, but only playing a half aint really helping when they need it.

That was a good quality win tonight. Big ups to the Bull for shutting shit down. Much props. I ain't no hater unlike that headbussa nigga

Tom Tibby said he wasnt gonna throw RIP out there for major mins this soon. Even though RIP said that he felt fine...theyre basically gonna "ease" him in there for the next 1.5 months until the playoff start. His mins will gradually increase as time moves along. I think we'll be seeing him more and more this month due to the fact that most of the teams that we play in March are playoff teams.

Good win in a back to back vs a great team that was actually on a hot streak, especially at home, until today.

The fact that Rose wasnt getting much helping on the offensive end kinda pissed me off....but he's actually been getting help most of the year...so im not gonna trip over one game.

The Bulls team defense really bails them out a lot.

Also....Noah has been a double double machine as of late. Im proud of how he's been playing considering how bad he was playing early on.

Even though the shitty part of our schedule is over, with all the back to backs and long ass road trips, the last 1-2 months of the reg season wil be a gut check for us. Most of the teams that we'll face will be above .500/playoff teams. IMO this is a good thing. We need to be tested before the playoffs. Especially if RIP is healthy.

Next up:

Cavs

BTW....im looking forward to seeing how the Bulls play in those games after the Cavs.

We play two teams that imo embarrassed us the last time that we played them. We play the 76er's in Philli on Sunday then we have to fly back home and play the Pacers (this team worries me. Hibbert's big tall lanky ass is actually scoring points for them now) the next day. Both of those should be interesting.

BULLS!!!!!!!!!!!!

I understand easing him into games. But I want to see how they play together when the possessions matter. The first half is cool. but everything is laid back on some whatever shit then. The 4th qtr people tense up. I want to see how people are gonna play Rose if hes off ball, or if Rip is running around creating space.

As far as Noah... I keep trying to tell people Noah is a beast. I wouldnt trade for any center in the league right now. Ole boy had a triple double last week.

Bulls win again.

Bulls: 112
Cavs: 91

Almost the entire Bulls team got in on this one.
Also the Bulls look great when RIP is on the same page with the rest of the team.

Yeah....Good win but now time to focus on whats next.
76ers Sunday and the Pacers on Monday.
Both teams dominated us the last time that we played.
..I expect a different out come this time.

7 game win steak by Monday night?

With the trade deadline approaching soon, does anybody think they'll trade Boozer, and would you want them to?

I wouldn't mind a trade for Josh Smith. Their contracts are almost even. Smith's numbers are a little higher than Boozers. Could be a good look.

What would he bring that Boozer doesnt?

Thats what I ask in any trade

Yo Philly is about to give away another game

Even though Boozer can still give you about 18 and 10 a game he's still a big man that seems to be hesitant to bang in the paint, he's a liability on defense, he was injury prone prior to this year, he's aging and he also has a ridiculous contract that will be hard to sell.

They were saying on ESPN radio earlier today that If the Bulls couldnt get D. Howard in a trade this year then more than likely we wont be making any trades. Since Howard doesnt want to be here....no....we wont be making any trades this year.

If we dont at least make it to the finals this year then I think the Bulls will be looking for the legit post player, like a Josh Smith, during the off season or before the trade deadline next season.

Boozer has pissed me off more times than not and I stil think that we need to pick up another big man, but I wanna see how our team plays when everyone is healthy and acquainted --> (RIP) before we start trading players.

Payback Win 4 Da Bulls!

Bulls: 96
76ers: 91

Bout time we finally beat these pesky mofo 76ers! We havent been able to beat them in Philli in almost 2 fuckin' years and havent won against them at home or in Philli since Dec of 2010.

Derrick was in beast mode tonight!!!

Despite Noah setting a few bad picks and making some costly to's...he still had another good game with 11 points and 18 boards.

Despite the poor rebounding, turnovers, etc etc....I commend the Bulls for being able to fight back and get a good win on the road vs a good team.

Next up:

Indiana

Even though we play at home keep in mind that this is a back to back; From the road to back home w/ limited rest and no practice.

The last time that we played the Pacers they played us at home the beat our asses; then they celebrated in their locker rooms like they won the title. BTW...Rose, Brewer, etc said that they heard the celebration through the walls and would keep that in mind the next time they played the Pacers.

Indiana is on a 6 game win streak just like us..

Should be a interesting game tomorrow!!!

Me and you been on the same page for a while about this... But the way Josh has been playing, the only way hes in a Bulls uni is on 2k.:smh:

Defense

Bulls also need a shooter....a healthy Shooter. Rip's obviously an upgrade over Bogans, but he's not enough. He's better off as a bench player. I wanted Wilson Chandler but the Bulls never made an offer. Fuck a lux-tax.

Why would ATL make this trade?

Yeah they probably wouldn't. Smith is more of their star player than Joe Johnson is despite Joe having the max contract. Boozer wouldn't fill Smith's role in Atlanta despite putting up similar numbers.

Headbussa might've hit the nail on the head on this one. There's rumors that Boozer could be traded, and there's some good players we could get for him (as far as contract vs. contract), but then there's the matter of "who would want Carlos Boozer?" And the answer would be a team that has a sorry big man. A big man so sorry that Carlos Boozer would actually be an upgrade for that team. ATL ain't one of those teams.

If we were to trade Boozer, it would be for a 2 or a 3, otherwise they'd have to throw in Deng or somebody who would be an upgrade in another position and take Boozer as collateral.

So basically, we ain't trading Boozer. I think we'll just continue to upgrade through the free agency.

Speaking of the free agency, I think if we're not going to keep Mike Smith (which would leave two spots open on the roster), we need to give Etan Thomas a trial shot for our back-up big man, and maybe pick-up either James Posey or Eddie House. How did Eddie House do on the Heat last year?

BULLS!!!!!!!!!

Rose was most definitely in beast mode. At the 27 sec mark in the 4th he crossed the half court line, they showed a close up on him and he smiled just before he drove to the lane for 2. I was done  As soon as he smiled I told my girl he was goin in. Too Big, Too Fast, Too Strong!

Good job in smacking around those disrespectful upstart Pacers. They was chestbumping last game not tonight:lol:

I am glad the Bulls spanked them because they always want to play the Bulls tough but they don't play everyone else that hard. The Bulls proved there is no rivalry. Hacksborough and Hibbert were none factors also.
