It's all good BDR:cool:. The Heat will probably win again, Deng is doubtful for the game. So it will be the second time this season Lebron does not have to worry about Deng. Deng never stops Lebron but he makes him work on both ends.

In other news puss ass David Stern fines Drose 25K. Sick and tired of being a penetrator and not getting superstar respect from the officials. Drose has always been a quiet guy and not a whiner but these officials are straight garbage. Never have I seen a MVP candidate and perenial superstar get so disrespected by puss ass refs. If Drose was a jump shooter complaining then he would look like a fool. The fact he plays at the rim and the refs swallow their whistle shows bullshit.

Chicago Bulls guard Derrick Rose was fined $25,000 for publicly criticizing officials after Monday's win over the New York Knicks, the league announced Tuesday.

"I've gotta be the only superstar in the league that's going through what I'm going through right now," Rose said, referring to lack of foul calls in his favor. "But I can't say too much about it."

Rose said earlier Tuesday he expected to be fined. It's his first during his four years in the NBA.:lol:

He also did not get any respect calls from the refs hence the 25K fine. He does have a groin injury:(. Just found out I had to apologize to MYSTIC for reported Drose was out in another thread. Miami should win this game easily and if Rose's groin persists they could retake 1st place in the conference. I just want a healthy Bulls team come playoff time:yes:.
 
I think Thibbs should take a play from Greg Pop's book and sit some of our better players more when we play non-playoff bound teams.

I agree. I still want to see the Bulls get another big if Pau does not get traded here by surprise for Boozer and Watson. If not then the Bulls need to get Etan Thomas. A move for Ray Allen would not be bad either. Maybe Brewer, Korver, and Asik for Allen and Steimsma.

No D. Rose...Boozer giving us nothing...but others stepped up and put up points. It was really the Bulls vs Wade/LBJ....but good game.

The better team won tonight.

The Blazers have been playing like shit for the past week. But they usually give us problems in the post when they play us. So this one should be good.

I'd rather we wait for Allen to hit the free agency next summer.

I think they should drop Smith and give 10-day contracts to Etan and maybe Eddie House and see how that works out.

Besides an extra big man, we just need an extra guy who we can look for to knock a shot down when we need it. I think we should keep Brewer as the starter, have Rip on the bench (so he won't bang himself up to much), and then when we need some points we could have a combo of Lucas, House (or whoever FA we pick up), Rip and Korver with Boozer (because we use Gibbs more for his defense) and either Gibson or Noah to clean the boards.
 
Fucked up loss last night at home to a struggling Blazers team:(. The Blazers played hard and hit big shots. Easily their biggest win of the year. The Bulls looked very flat during streches and Portland never backed down under their new coach. Props Blazers.

Bulls must put it behind them for another tough game against Philly tonight. I know the 76ers will be up for the challenge.

The Heat needs a rebounding goon from somewhere. I do agree Spo needs to give Howard, Pittman, and Curry minutes somehow or find a goon on a 10 day deal. Bosh, Haslem, and Anthony are great for the style the Heat plays but against a team that has a physical inside scorer or a team with rebounding bigs can overwhelm them.
 
yes the rebounding problem is glaring.

But that still does not excuse his rotations. Or the fact that he would let team go on 15-0 runs without calling timeouts

Or the fact that he would let 5-7 unproductive poorly run execution trips occur without a rotation adjustment

or........in fact he is a bloody stubborn fool

we've been playing good as of late...even without Rose...a collapse was bound to happen.
Tom Tibby was getting pissed off two minutes into the game. The Bulls werent playing good from the start...but they kept it close most of the game. At the end they just couldnt pull it together. We always struggle vs the Blazers...more so vs Lamarcus. Noah said it best....our defense has been suspect lately. Lamarcus was bodying Noah last night...and Boozer..like usual...wasnt rotating to help him out.

Im about to head out to go see the 76ers lose to the Bulls. gotta fight through all the drunk ass Irish folks first.

D was a lot better tonight. There were some questionable shots in the 4th but, over all a solid game. Deng gotta step up on offense.

Bulls were getting owned early on. I honestly thought we were about to lose after the 1st half. We havent lost two in a row since early last year I think. So when I witness us getting our asses kicked I thought to myself, "This is the night!! Rose aint here to bail us out of this one." But then the second half came around...and the rest is history.

Offensively we played like shit. We won this game because of our defense. Our defense saves our ass more times than not. Philli only had two players with double digit points. The reason why damn near no team in the NBA is successful at getting a blow out win vs us is because of our great defense.

Deng's shot is stil off a bit. I think they need to rest him some more; Let that torn ligament in his wrist chill a bit. I think the main reason why he's been out there is due to Rose being out and also because the last three teams that we've played have been decent teams...hence his defense and offense are both needed. But like i said...he needs rest. The playoffs are just around the corner. If they keep pushing him too hard..and the wrist swells again.... then imho I think he might miss a few playoff games when we start to make our run.

I hope the Bulls plan to work on Taj Gibson's contract. What he gives us off the bench is something special. His shot efficiency/selection has improved a lot, he's not scared to go to the hole and he also plays great defense.

That scenario happens over and over again during ever game that we play. They were talking about this on ESPN Radio yesterday...but Ive been talking about it for a few years now.

Usually Noah sets high screens for Rose at the top of the key. Sometimes Noah receives the ball. Once that happens the opposing team usually just leaves him and the lane wide open due to Noah not being considered a scoring threat. Instead of standing there like a deer caught in headlights...Noah needs to start driving in the lane and drawing contact or taking a few steps up so he can shoot that 10-15 jumper. He's decent when it comes to hitting close jumpers..the problem is he doesnt try to take the shot. When we're struggling to score points Noah needs to at least try to help out offensively.

I know that Noah and Boozer arent the paint scorers that we desperately need....but I think that one of Tom Tibbys flaws is him not knowing how to utilize the talents of players like Noah and Boozer via his offensive play calling.

The Bulls are awesome, man. Thibbs must give a hell of speech after the 1st quarter or half time because we can start out looking like shit, but by the 4th quarter, it'll look like a completely different game.

Orlando deserves more respect than that. They beat the Bulls and Heat in the same week. Also with an injured Bulls team easy wins don't come easy. If the Bulls get caught slipping they will get got:smh:. Anyway Go Bulls:yes:!
