To a degree yes. But Thibbs have been getting flack from management of his grinding out style of coaching. Truth is Thibbs is a defensive drill master but offensively he needs to be better. A team with Rose, Butler, and Gasol should not struggle to score.

Exactly. I respect the hell out of him as a coach, but that old school, players play 40 a night, no games off, practice hard, push, push, push way of coaching has run players into the ground. Lu is shot, Noah is shot, and you already know if he stayed Jimmy, and Taj would be shot too. Offensively they run what looks like a college offense at times. Ball screens starting late in the clock, throw up something, hope it goes in, if not, crash the boards and get garbage points. Grind on D, do the same shit next time down the court. Its just time to go in a different direction.

If the Rockets lose this game, I'm putting the blame on McHale for not figuring how to stop Griffin with Paul being out. This is the Blazers series all over again with Griffin looking like Aldridge. This dude does not know how to make any fucking in game adjustments on offense or defense.
