***THE OFFFICIAL BGOL 2015 NBA PLAYOFFS THREAD*** Who you Got?

Zeke was right. Cp3 stats look like he did all he could do but when it came down to the play that mattered he gave the ball up and was scared to take that chance.
You must have missed the part where he nailed a big nuts 3 in the clutch. Or maybe you missed the fact that he sent the game into OT by hitting 2 clutch free throws when everyone else was bricking? You niggas are hilarious.

If CP3 was Lebron he'd be getting shit here and all over for giving up the ball.

It's not as though CP made a play that opened up an easy bucket. He gave it to Blake to create his own shot.

Yes, the team lost, but in crunch time he should've asserted himself, if he's supposed to be the superstar and leader of the team.

Patty Mills hit the free throws to send it to OT...Paul is the one who fouled him, the Paul missed the chance for the win. What game were you watching?

And yeah looking at those bench points who had the most in the clutch??? The man cp3 was guarding. Mills cooker him.
You're kidding right? Mills hit one jumper in OT. It was off of like 2 screens and Blake sagged. Then he had a fastbreak layup. Then free throws from intentional fouls.

You cats are funny.

He's not the average point guard throwing the ball to the teams best playmaker and opportunity to win. That was a terrible play from start to finish, and it was treated like it was a play in the first quarter. No sense of urgency.

He made big plays, but you know who did too? Patty Mills, so what's your point?

Obviously not the one you were watching. The score ended 94 all in regulation. Paul hit the shots to send it there. The (questionable) foul on Mills was to stop a fucking WIDE OPEN fastbreak that was created when Blake fumbled the ball away and gave Mills a open court layup. Paul was the only one to make it back and contest it.

You're a fucking clown bro.

To me, it seems like teams don't start winning in the playoffs until they get sick and tired of losing... And again, to me, it seems like the Clippers aren't at that level of anger yet.. It seems like, they are still giddy about being number 1 in L.A. and just being in the playoffs..
I know Doc is livid about these losses, but the rest of the team has to show that same level of passion and commitment..

What play are you talking about?

Heres my point. Blaming the loss on Paul is idiotic. Comparing him to Patty fucking Mills is imbecilic.

Hopefully thats clear enough.

Clippers ain't winning this series

Whoever wins game 3 will win. Paper Clips have a shot because the Spurs are hurt (gino, parker, splitter), and TD will be recovering from 45minutes of work last nite. Green is also in a slump (which may turn around at home as he is known to do). Clips lack of depth will be a issue on the road tho.

I see a close clip win or a SA blowout.

I agree that if the Spurs lose it would be due to their legs giving out.. Even if they win, I am afraid that they will be too over taxed for the next series... But then again we been saying this forever now..

Your last sentence said it all

Spurs supposed to have been done and over with years ago

I will never count them out ever

Im talking about the play where Blake Griffin lost the ball.

Chris Paul was at the three point line, dribbling as the clock hit the single digits, then just gave it to Blake Griffin as it were a standard play.

The loss is not on CP3, but in THAT moment, he shied away from taking the big shot to win the game, and didn't even attempt to make a play.

And this is why Zeke is fair in calling him out. As much of a superstar Chris Paul is, there's a level ABOVE that and that is where Zeke resides that only the player himself can catapult himself to, and it's apparent Chris Paul is not going do that.

Because if he misses the shot more eyes are on him.

Blake turned the ball over, but he was willing to try. Big risk, big reward. It didn't go right. But at least he didn't dump the ball off.

Kawhi DPOY? Thoughts?
Solid pick. I thought all the missed games would hurt him and owuldnt have been mad if Draymont won it. But Kawhi is easily a better man and team defender.

Im talking about the play where Blake Griffin lost the ball...
Blake had a 5 inch and 50 pound advantage over Marco Belinelli on him. Paul gave him to ball as he should have. Once he passed it, he (Paul) repositioned on the wing and asked for it back. Blake saw he had a small guy and wanted to take him low. He fumbled it away. Ball game.

It wasnt a bad play by Paul bro. Him going iso there and playing hero ball was not the move. He did what he was supposed to. Give it to his big who had a small on him, reposition, and if he didnt make a move to the basket demand the ball back. Thats what he did. Blake ignored him and tried to drive. He fumbled.

The team is very flawed man. As i said earlier in the thread... no bench, no third option, no wing player to create his own shot, a center who is easily taken out of the game, and no back up point guard. Its a poorly comprised roster. This isnt on Paul. He played a dam good game.

He didn't ask for it back. he stood there ready if it came back to him for the spot up shot.

Blake had a size advantage, but he was out at the three point line when he got the ball. That kind of advantage is neutralized there, unless Blake suddenly became prime Dirk Nowitzki.

That was an awful sequence period where they could've iced the game.

But Paul never demanded the ball back. Im not sure what you were watching.

Regardless, all I'm saying is that there really is no right or wrong play, but CP is not the kind of guy who wants the pressure on him during those crunch time moments. He's playing those moments as if it's the first quarter. Zeke is spot on in his assessment. Im going to continue to agree with the HOF champion over posters here.

It was a called play my man. Doc called it in. Blake signaled it to Paul. Blake came out to the line and asked for the ball. Paul re adjusted and had his hands open motioning for the ball. Blake ignored him and tried to attack.

It just doenst make sense trying to pin this one on Paul in any way shape or form bro. :smh:

And thats cool you defer to Zekes opinion. It has some merit i guess, but the problem comes when guys follow it blindly, take it for gospel without context, and use it to assess fault to Paul in any given scenario. Thats nonsense.

Jordan missed how many free throws? Blake had how many fumbles? Barnes went 1-10 and missed 4 straight FTs, JJ missed a tech, and the bench gave them 14 points. None of this is on Paul man.

:lol: lebron said I blocked it...Turner gave it all he had though...fucking Tyler zeller is weak ..plus angie we need an upgrade at center and sg...and sf..pf..too shit the whole staring 5 but smart.

Y'all got a nice young roster but most of those dudes should be backups yeah I agree

This series is whack

Not if you are a celtics fan..I m actually enjoying watching my guys get their asses kicked because I didn't expect them to be here..even their gm wasnt to excited about the team making the playoffs..good experience for a young team and a good coach.

I don't disagree. Best experience for them.

Question of the day...Has the Bucks even come close to hitting a three point shot in this series, because I swear everyone I saw was a horrible looking brick..
