It's annoying when people are acting like they really give a shit about the team. I'm a knicks fan but if the knicks aren't doing shit there are players I'd like to see do well. I like to root for players who get unfairly shitted on, and sometimes Lebron does. I don't like how people think a player isn't great if they've lost in the finals. Why? Because Jordan never lost? He would've in 95...oh wait the bulls were beat by the magic who then got SWEPT by the Rockets....
The part that annoys me the most is that if Lebron said, 'fuck it i want to join the knicks and win with melo"

Yes, I have watched JR post-Knicks since NY and he's been great. The post I responded to mentioned the past few seasons. I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop with JR but apparently since there's nothing to do in Cleveland y'all don't have to worry about him getting smashed, going to the club and laying pipe every night before playoff games.

Clevleand has something NY doesn't - the leadership of LeBron James. When asked about trading for JR, he said he'd take care of JR. Don't underestimate what that means.
This is just one example of how much the impact of LeBron James gets underrated. He went to a lottery team, that team's only all star has been playing at 50% in the playoffs. The other all star they traded for has been out since the 4th game of the playoffs. The roster was filled out with other teams scraps they could get for the combination of Dion Waiters and a draft pick. Yet here they are up 1-0 on the ECF against a team with 4 all stars. Instead of crediting him (or his coach), too many people want to say he has a cake walk to the finals.

What this article is saying basically is what most people with common sense already know... the reason players leave NY and ball out is Melo. Dude is overrated, eats up cap space, selfish, scores a lot but makes no one around him better. God did Towns and Okafor a favor by making the Knicks drop to 4th... I feel bad for the PG they pick because with that wack azz offense they run and Melo selfish azz they won't be able to develop at all. Look at the fucking treadmill Hardaway is on...

All you have to do is listen to the Cavs players during interviews to tell that LeBron has a big footprint towards the players behavior on and off the court.. Earlier this season Tristan behaved very immature, flirting with a female reporter on live during a live feed, last night he was very mature and like the other Cavs players appeared very mature and acted as if they been there before..
But before all the credit can be given to James, people have to keep in mind the vets he brought over there with him and the rolls they played in molding the culture of the locker room.. But at the end of the day, I give the most credit towards the players for growing up, buying into the system and allowing themselves to be led towards greatness..
Dion Waiters is one player that had problems adjusting in the locker room and he was dealt, this goes to show that some players are not cut out for certain systems, and while JR and Shumpert may not have jelled with Melo and the Knicks, who is to say that he didn't try, or that another player say like a Waiters might be more receptive towards his message..

LeBron James had a good floor game and scored 31 points, but he continued his postseason inefficiency as a scorer in Game 1.
The Cleveland Cavaliers' 18-point fourth quarter lead was cut down to four by the Atlanta Hawks.
“We can’t worry about how many points we’re up or how many points we’re down; we have to continue to play our game. It starts with me. I take all the responsibility for it,” James said. “In the fourth quarter, I played way too much isolation basketball, one-on-one basketball [with] a lot of the defenses set, and I was letting the clock run down way too much. I just had to take the shot or I was giving it to my guys late in the shot clock, and they couldn’t do nothing with it besides shoot it or turn the ball over.”
He used even stronger language during his interview on the court with Fox Sports Ohio’s Allie Clifton immediately after the game, saying, "I allowed them back into the game with my offensive nonsense."
James' 18 isolation possessions in Game 1 were the most by any player during the 2015 playoffs, according to SportVu. While he had some success with it, shooting 8-for-17 on those possessions, it clearly took the rest of the Cavs out of any sort of flow.
Thirty-five percent of Cleveland’s possessions in Game 1 came out of isolation play, according to ESPN Stats & Info.
James vowed a more team-centric approach to the offense he'll initiate should that occur.
“I’ll be more conscious about that in Game 2 if that opportunity presents itself, where at least I can get the ball moving to start [the possession] and then maybe at the back side or like the third option, I can get it back at the end,” James said. “At least we get the defense moving instead of them just watching me pound the ball for 24 seconds.
