What Junior High School did I go to? In what city? You're one stupid mutha fucka, talking like you know me.
Get off a dead man's dick, fool. You should brush up on ACTUAL black history instead of idolizing a dropout drug dealer turned entertainer. What you have shown is that your scope is narrow. I can discuss music and musicians in-depthly and black music is much bigger than hip-hop. Can you even speak on artists like Terrance Blanchard, Quincy Jones, Scott Joplin, Thelonious Monk, Duke Ellington...how about Charlie Parker or someone like James P. Johnson? I'm not on a messageboard dickriding a mutha fucka who dropped out of school and set a poor example of what to be in life. Biggie had lyrical skills within the scope of what he did but he never talked about anything. His subject matter was all bullshit. He could rhyme cleverly about nothing. Dude's music was nothing more than entertainment. He was all style and no substance. So your "side" sounds like that of a child to me. The facts about his life have already been told. A movie biopic like this is made to romanticize his life and tell a slanted perspective from the viewpoint of whoever is paying for it. Its made for little fanboys like you to drool over and to make white people feel like they've indulged in some form of black culture.
I came into the thread to see what people had to say about the movie. Sounds to me like you came in to jack off to Biggie's memory. You come in here dissin' everybody that don't like Biggie. You sound like you got a hard-on for him or something. Are you a gay necrophiliac?
I'll leave that to you fanboys who care.
Biggie was LUCKY. Most niggas that do what he did either get killed (whoops, guess he wasn't so lucky after all, huh) or end up doing long bids. There is no easy way out. That's what people need to "understand".
Go to school. Go to college and stop dreaming about spending millions and do something with life. Materialism has us all fucked up as it is. That's why we can't seem to grow as a culture these days. Black folks are out of focus. Biggie is the perfect example of that.
