The Notorious Movie

But people like yourself know nothing a true history with political or musical. You're just a person with an opinion. All I'm doing is clearing the air...that's all...that's why I address these quotes. Because I can't stand ignorance!
The only thing you've done is show how young, arrogant and misguided you are. You've cleared nothing but how absolutely clueless some people can be, looking at life through rap-colored glasses. I won't even honor you with a musical discussion. Your scope is too small. Stick to your rap dreams, kid. Leave the real discussions to the grown folk.
 @ this nigga.
You're a fanboy and it shows; trashing everybody who don't agree with you. Not everybody gives a damn about a fat ass ex-drug dealer who rapped.

biggie wasn't a thug but he had to play that role as one to get street cred just like alot of rappers now. 2Pac was a real thug.

Tupac was not a thug because if you see the video "Same Song" by Digital Underground, he was dressed in african style clothing and holding a walking stick now a couple years later he "thuggin"?,

Movie was decent better than I expected. I had fun just watching how some of the characters wer portrayed. Throwing Craig Mack in there was funny I would've loved for him to say Bwooyyyyy just one time! Everytime puffy danced I was laughing my ass off! Shorty playing Faith was hot though. Basset was good but they should've used Cams mom from Killa Season to play that role somebody that looked more like Miss Wallace. Cease was only a teenager running around with BIG so that was okay to cast him like they did. Should've kept the Pac shooting out of it. I doubt BIG was ready to go bust shots plus even the most negligent cops would have searched everybody at that scene for guns. Not good enough to get and award but not bad enough to go straight to DVD. I got my money worth outtat that shit!

yall all sound dumb as fuck on the first page fuck tupac its about the greatest nigga and thats biggie. see yall dig to deep into everything man he was a regular smart cat that saw fast money. got locked up started rap'n. these were some young ass cats like 19 and 20 seeing millions. man that movie was good as fuck i dont know what you were watching but yo lil kim in the movie had some nice ass titties

My thing is why would you pay to see the same rehashed story that you already know the outcome of??

heres the story............

Bad ass kid
sells some dope
gets discoverd
fuck some skanks
marry one
goes to L.A.
gets killed..........the end.

Let the dude rest in peace.

same reason niggas watch law & order its just something good to watch

Not everybody gives a damn about a fat ass ex-drug dealer who rapped.

Apparently enough people cared to make it the #2 grossing movie on its Friday opening at $8.3M, with the HIGHEST per-screen average of them all.

For the dummies who thought this film should've been made-for-BET/VH-1 or go straight-to-DVD, THIS box-office result is why it was made for theatres (along withe fact that you could use hard language and show the appropriate nudity in theatres).

It should make it's @$20M budget back its first weekend.

im so tired of niggas talking about pac was the best ever and he was a real thug i guess y'all forget about him dancing around in digital undergrounds videos looking real gay!!!!...and as far as big he was a good rapper but damn y'all treat that nigga like he jesus....there alot of better rappers out there better than big and pac but just because they got shot there the greatest..

No...Mr. Smarty pants...I've shown history...something you've spoke nothing of. And you don't know what else I know or been around. While you were trying to get over in junior high...I was getting full scholarships...and some. I've experienced more things than you can fathom to imagine.

You have not a clue...but yet try so hard to sound like you know something. If you know then why are you here wasting time. I've stated my side...I can't stand ignorance. What's your pathetic side?

Further more...you have no clue on how the industry works. These artist can put their heart and soul into doing positive and politically correct music. But the masses don't purchase that. So these artist who have no creative control because their contracts doesn't permit them to...have no choice in the matter...if they want their voice or sound to be heard (meaning promoted and marketed) they have to do as they're told or find a witty way of getting that message out. Besides, Whites purchase more of minority music than minorities do...because of people like you...they don't make enough noise to continue. Jay-Z stated that in his rhyme when he said "I always wanted to rap like Common Sense...but I did 5 mil (million) so I ain't been rapping like Common since."

So, you're efforts on trying to sound intelligent, has failed...hip hop have more truth in their lyrics than...what do you listen to again? And what is the topic (Biggie Movie)...isn't that Hip Hop...oops, I mean rap (Rhythm And Poetry)?

How old are you anyway...30, 35, 40, 45, 50...?
Because you surely sound like your 16 trying to be 80!

That's not why. It's a chemistry with music. They just summed up what so many couldn't. And they died before they call fall off like so many have. That's all.

Thank you....so much

Our economy is so fucked up but yet there's enough love and curiosity for this film to be a success. Congratulate and stop hating!

No Biggie was a street dude who did what he did in the streets to get money, 2Pac was a dancer who danced in tights in several videos. He wasn't a thug until Suge Knight painted him as one. He then he started to belive it. 2Pac was never a THUG

DUMBASS

Not to sound ignorant myself...but in one case you are right. They got to see, hold, save, and spend millions...half of these stupid ass over opinionated viewers here have never and probably will never get even close to that!

Part of the opening weekend success is also due to no bootleg being out.

I dont know how they managed that one.

I thought black films were always PURPOSELY bootlegged by "the powers that be" in order to drive down the box-office. At least that's what the bug-eyed radicals on this board have always claimed.

Guess not this time.

"I trip off these romanticized views of these two" and "Pac may have had a couple of moments of realization towards the end of his life but I'm sick of niggas Malcolm and Martin-ing these two fools. I swear black folk seem to consistently pick the wrong people to champion as examples."

Instead of knocking it...you should be helping those to understand it.

CO sign!!!!!!!!!!!!! TEN TIMES

Mr. or maybe Ms. Mo Pizorn

What are you...a wanna be Mason, pretend Politician, hypocritical Christian, fake-ass Muslim, only in your imagination Executive, 100% lazy-ass Activist, over the internet Scholar, in the closet gay-ass Priest, confused and lost Anthropologist, What...?

And who are you anyway?

Question...do you feel that you are a genius in a room filled with dummies or are you the dummy in a room filled with geniuses?

Inquiring minds want to know.

What Junior High School did I go to? In what city? You're one stupid mutha fucka, talking like you know me.
Get off a dead man's dick, fool. You should brush up on ACTUAL black history instead of idolizing a dropout drug dealer turned entertainer. What you have shown is that your scope is narrow. I can discuss music and musicians in-depthly and black music is much bigger than hip-hop. Can you even speak on artists like Terrance Blanchard, Quincy Jones, Scott Joplin, Thelonious Monk, Duke Ellington...how about Charlie Parker or someone like James P. Johnson? I'm not on a messageboard dickriding a mutha fucka who dropped out of school and set a poor example of what to be in life. Biggie had lyrical skills within the scope of what he did but he never talked about anything. His subject matter was all bullshit. He could rhyme cleverly about nothing. Dude's music was nothing more than entertainment. He was all style and no substance. So your "side" sounds like that of a child to me. The facts about his life have already been told. A movie biopic like this is made to romanticize his life and tell a slanted perspective from the viewpoint of whoever is paying for it. Its made for little fanboys like you to drool over and to make white people feel like they've indulged in some form of black culture.
I came into the thread to see what people had to say about the movie. Sounds to me like you came in to jack off to Biggie's memory. You come in here dissin' everybody that don't like Biggie. You sound like you got a hard-on for him or something. Are you a gay necrophiliac?
Instead of knocking it...you should be helping those to understand it.

I'll leave that to you fanboys who care.
Biggie was LUCKY. Most niggas that do what he did either get killed (whoops, guess he wasn't so lucky after all, huh) or end up doing long bids. There is no easy way out. That's what people need to "understand".
Go to school. Go to college and stop dreaming about spending millions and do something with life. Materialism has us all fucked up as it is. That's why we can't seem to grow as a culture these days. Black folks are out of focus. Biggie is the perfect example of that.

Fuck you Cunt:angry::angry:

The White man does bootleg black movies to keep us down cracka!

They just didn't do it this time because they like Biggie, and it's a recession...and uh.....and uhhh...and Obama...uhhhhh.

Fuck you Cracka Cunt Coon:angry::angry::angry:

Here we go with the dumb ass trying to sound smart again.
I know the people that made Quincy and the rest. If you really want to go head up about music mention people like Miles Davis and others...Quincy made great music but Prince changed the sound and so did Miles....that's one

And two...if the youth are relating to something that you know nothing of...then it would be smart to hear the youth's side.

Three...I never dick ride...I just give credit where it's due. Name one rapper (other than RUN DMC which is a group) that have accomplished what both Biggie or Pac have accomplished.

And further more it's the makings behind the business that makes or breaks these acts. The acts are just faces...with a little talent.

Sista, please. Your moms ain't even buying that nonsense anymore. Go back and finish high school. Then you might have something worthwhile to say.

Mo Pizorn

Since you want to pretend and act like you're old...

You lost, quit, give it up.

Whether or not you try to use reverse psychology and state that I'm dissing or attacking those who don't like Biggie...just know that it's not working. I never attacked those who don't like Biggie...I could care less. I just didn't like that clouding the judgment of whether it was a good moving or not.

Vivian Green, Jennifer Hudson, and Chrisette Michell has hot musical albums...what's going on with them?

Alot of the older acts are releasing new albums...what happen to them?

But yet "Notorious" is a Box Office Hit.

That's the facts...not an opinion.

Whether you like what I've stated or not...the numbers are what they are!

Many artists have changed the sound of music. Jimi did it before and better than Prince ever could. Rock is what it is today because of Jimi Hendrix, who also fucked his life up because of drugs. Another example of what not to do with your life. The difference is Jimi was miles over Christopher Wallace in terms of talent. He actually changed the face of music.

And two...if the youth are relating to something that you know nothing of...then it would be smart to hear the youth's side.
Its not like I'm not listening, I'm just not falling for ignorant shit. Some of us actually went to school.

Three...I never dick ride...I just give credit where it's due. Name one rapper (other than RUN DMC which is a group) that have accomplished what both Biggie or Pac have accomplished.
So far, you've done nothing but dicride, fanboy. Define accomplishment.
Michael Jackson 's whitewashed ass has done 10 times more than both of them combined and he's black (sort of).

And further more it's the makings behind the business that makes or breaks these acts. The acts are just faces...with a little talent.
Jews own and run the music industry. Lyor Cohen, The Mays brothers...for somebody who pretends to be so knowledgeable, you don't seem to know much.

Mo...

I'm not even going to entertain these people with getting at you anymore...I'm board. I have other things to do. But it was fun playing with you. Your efforts were feeble...but I'll give you a D- for trying anyway.

Wow...I said name one rapper and he names Micheal Jackson. You're sooo smart. Damn, you've beat me again Bartman:lol::lol::lol::lol:

Oh...something else...Jimi has change the sound a little with rock. But Prince has changed the industry in a whole. Prince produced and wrote for more people than Jimi ever did while still being an artist himself. Not taking anything away from Jimi...but you being soooo knowledgeable should have had a better example!

Jimi can't compare to Prince to save his life because Prince has more accomplishments and material. As young as prince was...he's help made more artists both new and already household names what they are than Jimi ever could....you was better off comparing Jimi to Miles.

Please...go home and recharge your pacemaker.

Okay, I see. You're another dumbass who doesn't know anything about music so you define success by dollar amounts and then constrain those success to rappers. well I don't. Now you've brought R&B in, so here's some numbers for your ass:
Michael Jackson - Thriller - 27x Platinum. Not rap music.
Whitney Houston - The Bodygurad soundtrack - 17x Platinum Not rap.
Mariah Carey has had 2 CDs to go 10x Platinum
Boys 2 Men II - 14X Platinum
Outkast - 11x Platinum
Stevie Wonder, Usher, TLC, MC Hammer - all went 10x Platinum as well.
Stop trying to front like B.I.G. is the biggest thing in history. The difference? All of these people minus Left Eye are still around to enjoy their successes.
Stevie >>>>>>>>>>>>>>every rapper in history.
Rap doesn't have a musical genius. You measure success by sales. I measure by quality. Holla at me when a rapper has a record on the level of "Songs In The Key Of Life" or "Talking Book".

You are too dumb. If you don't know what Jimi did for rock, you are not qualified to discuss music outside of rap.
