"The nae nae dance" have we discussed how gay this is?

I remember watchin my pops kind of get old. His clothes were dated. You know, he had black leather coats with the big collar, something you see superfly wear in the 60s or 70s. He wore hats and fitted suits sometimes. Fashionable but old. I wore baggy everything. Came up in the 90s and did things like the rappers. He could not understand me letting my pants sag.

I always wondered if these kids would turn a corner I could not keep up with. Until about 5-6 years ago not much changed in rap and fashion. Now these kids finally did it. Wearing these tight leg skinny jeans and lookin like a fag has made it impossible for me to look young and fashionable, no way no how. I see how this happens and how my dad felt.

My 35+ year old Fam speak on this for me........

If you were dancing like this back in the day with your homies up at the play ground and your old man walked by and saw that, he would beat the breaks off you in front of everyone.

Hell if an Uncle or your Granddad saw you on some moist fuckery they would beat the brakes off you then walk you home for your folks to rinse and repeat.

Let's face it , this moist culture is a direct result of an OVER ABUNDANT generation of boys growing up with ZERO male role models and are easily influenced by the media (moist booty agenda) and their mothers.

All kids grow up emulating those raising them.

Lmao you say that so proudly like you're not supposed to BE their role model. Well guess what? Whether you're active in it or not, just by you walking and breathing in society, you ARE somebody's role model and if that somebody grows up to act and dance gay, then...

Thanks for the reminder! it's been a rough week! First the boy pussy song dropped, then the gay dude from Saint Louis, now this? Uggggh. Lol

i am apparently very out of touch because i don't know about any of this shit.

click anywhere in the video and you will find gayness.

Yes I think the dance is gay but if you look back alot of dances back in the day looked gay. One difference is that we danced with girls and not dudes.

You beat me to it. I look at this different now then when I was a kid or teenager! Why is that???

Solved this a long time ago fam. This is Rep and Finest.

:hmm::lol:

Don't put that evil on me but i'm not gonna lie that was me in high school right there. Plus them niggas be around the city so much.....I feel like I know them.

I've never been on that D-town Boogie shit.....I let these dudes live who bout that shit don't get me wrong I don't have a problem with it but I do find it disturbing....i'm not taking part in it.

I knew shit got real when I got to the club and the dudes were dancing like the women. Shaking hips and necks and shit.

This Nae Nae shit is a dance craze. I'm not mad at it. Lil' dudes out here having fun. They could be out here bussin' heads. But there's far worse shit going on out there and D Town Boogie was a lot of that.

Had Dallas out here looking like Houston friendly little cousin and shit. If I was Houston I wouldn't even associate with us after that shit.

By far the most gay shit i've ever seen in our culture. Like it makes this Nae Nae shit look masculine. I wasn't around for the 70's but I always wondered how them dudes were received dancing better than the women on there. And having on blouses and skinny bell bottoms and shit.

I'm too old to be fuckin' with "clubs" on the regular, but when I do go out, it's amazing to see that men and women don't really dance together like they used to. And you're right, a lot of these ho's act stuck up nowadays.

We used to just roll out and chill. You could have a nice time.. dance with a few girls, get some numbers, whatever. Those days are long gone now.

There is definitely a difference in the thoughts of the "older" BGOL folks and the "younger" ones.....

what is okay....and what is not okay...

Most dance crazes are feminine looking.

Every thing ain't for everybody.

I'm just glad when I came up, it was the A-Town/Eastside stomp, at least that shit was gangsta.

The game done changed man.....I remember in high school we had the light skinned niggas called the "Pretty Boy Click" and that was when I first started seeing dudes hitting them gay ass dances.....fake ass Ginuwine baby hair having ass niggas. They were the light skinned dudes who couldn't hoop or play basketball but could dance

If you weren't on the Dallas scene in 2004 and then seen it in 2014 I wouldn't expect you to understand

I know what I seen/experienced and it's not the same

Why do you old pedo ass niggas care though?
I mean some of the gayest looking shit came out of your generations.

I was. I've travelled quite a bit and been to Dallas at least once a year since 2001. I know something about that place. It ain't that deep.

LMBAO!!!!!!! Fellas when these youngling put in another 10 years or so of life and see this video they going to be like WTF WAS I THINKING???!!!! In 20 years they will probably deny they were even there. For you old heads you ever see a episode of soul train and see the cats doing the robot and they all into it like "IT'S THE FUTURE OF DANCE PEOPLE SO GET SUM!!!!"...that kind of embarrassment!:lol::lol::lol:...but all that being said they are kids so let the kids be kids and in time it will go the way of the duggy, running man, spank, worm etc.

You can post all the gay looking soul train clips you want to. It was understood it was just dancing. You could say "quit dancing like a fag" and everybody would laugh. Things have changed. Now these dudes dancing like bitches while gay dudes cheer them on. You might look old fashioned separating yourself from the gay dudes goin to suck dick after the party. These kids accept this shit and you see it in their dancing.
