I got the Dreamcast version on a trade (which the disc doesn't work anymore). And I have the PS 2 version.

if the data isn't actually damaged just take the disc to get buffed at a hollyweird video or a place that fixes busted systems, they're sure to have a buffer at one of those specialty stores and like magic they will make it look brand new
