The Greatest Show on Earth! Man with $6 million home theatre

you must ain't got kids. and you know they all have friends.

:lol:

:lol::lol::lol:

You got me there.....but if i had them, them lil ninjas would have to be watching their shit on a "Show n Tell" like I did. My favorite was the "Brown Bomber" a.k.a. Joe Louis

again some people dont read.. he could give a fuck about us the practical common person

he talking about people with real money....

so when you ask who would spend that type of money... they would

talk about not reading...

I was referring to practical USE not "practical/cost-concious" buyer

And could you PLEASE explain what exactly you mean by "real money" and tell us how many of THOSE PEOPLE you refrenced that you personally happen to know

or associate w/ that qualifies you to make that kind of claim? People w/ REAL money (from MY personal experiences) are the ones who EARNED it and they

are not the kind to spend money on a whim, like this is some ol' QVC shop at home shit...

they are the type to look closely and inform themselves about *insert product 'x'*, do cost comparisons etc. ect...

:lol::lol:

my comment was based on most the responses.. and it is worthless to argue over something i dont have.

my point was that this is more of a lab not a living room. As for the real money i mean money you can drop down on anything (like this) without much thought.

do i know the above named people? no..

but i have worked with some ceo's of companies, before my current job, mainly in the legalized gambling business (OTB arena).

people that have bought the duplex apartment next door in manhattan just so they can connect the terrace's for when they throw a party in their new york apartment. for that reason only did they spend the money on the second apartment.

so yes this person and others would pay this guy more or less what he is asking for, for his set up or something like it. well his brother would he is more the audio visual guy, the one i mentioned is more about the terrace space or yard space. to each their own.

my point was not to argue or debate but that its possible to make a profit off this. also that i'm sure that if he spent this much money putting together this "Project" i'm sure he would have a decent living room experience like others are saying they would have done.

the hdmi makes sense in long term. new device or port arrives in the market, no need to keep up or be called to upgrade

would i make my living room this way? no

would i make my project area that i would use to show people what can be done with certain equipment? yes

your living room look is up to you, this is more of what it is thats going in to that space.. personally i see it and have nothing negative to say about it...

Hey Cranrab,

where the wires at? all these joints I see in these mags, etc, there are no wires. they have wireless speakers?

:lol:

DJM,

NO, this is not a wireless set up. in fact, the set up uses cables that cost approximately $1K per every 3 feet.

but to answer your question, THERE ARE NO WIRES. they were removed for the aesthetics of the photograph (which is EXTREMELY common when taking your trophy picture).

if you check the overhead pic from the monitor room, you can see that there are no cables attached to the speakers.

just to clarify for everyone, this particular room used to be a practice area for the owner's father, who was a professional musician.
