The founder of Black Girls Code "Kimberly Bryant" has been ousted as head of the nonprofit

I'm curious, how is Elon a menace? I really admire Elon for how ambitious his goals are and how great the steps he has taken to achieve them. I am interested in getting information to challenge this.

The multiple times he was charged, or threatened to be charged with security fraud. When he called one of the rescuers of the Thai soccer team a 'pedo guy' his manipulation of the crypto market, and on and on. A normal CEO would have been bounced years ago for some of it.

To be quite candid he should’ve been Martha Stewart or at least fired when he tweeted that Tesla was going private a few years ago.

If you follow his cadence when he needs to show profits and meet quota's to get his bonuses he is all in on crypto and bitcoin and the price rallies
he then get his bonus and then says fuck bitcoin and all coins because they no longer serve him.

well... he is listed as a founder of all his companies - truth is he isn't a founder of any....

The two sides of Elon Musk - The Washington Post

Tesla wheels fall off due to cheap parts

Happened to Steve Jobs and Founders of Cisco got kicked out and dude who started Yahoo.

Man I hate to see this. A few years back I took my daughter's to a session they had at USC. It was a great experience for them to see women in that field doing it big. Even had the pleasure of talking to one of the sista's and she was so helpful and truthful. She told us about her experience at Iowa when she was a student and how racist they were towards her being the only black female in most of her classes, she was really open about everything and what you need to do to make it in this industry. Seems like the CEO had beef with the gay chick the board appointed as interim chair. I can totally believe they were trying to push the company in the direction of all that gay shit and she was not having it.

Well 1st he was born on 3rd base his father owns a diamond mine so he's never struggled
2nd he didn't invent the company he bought it out and took over so Tesla isn't even his idea
3rd he's a life-size troll that can really do good and help but doesn't
4th all in our neck of the woods he hired nothing but illegal European workers who were damn near getting killed.
5th as soon as California, the place that gave him the cred and space to build something asked for money in the form of taxes to help he moved to texas.
6th has faulty parts that will be recalled soon but is paying to play essentially.
There's other things he does toying with the financial institutions that have no regulations that he's fucking a lot of people over on without a care in the world as well.

Elon is tridash to me.

Yeah I have to agree Elon is a piece of shit. If you really want to see how useless he is look up how he got sued cause he tried to insert himself in the rescue of those kids that got trapped in the cave....

Well 1st he was born on 3rd base his father owns a diamond mine so he's never struggled Is experiencing financial struggle an essential experience to become a good person? If not, how necessary of an experience do you feel that it is to become a good person?
2nd he didn't invent the company he bought it out and took over so Tesla isn't even his idea How much of Tesla's success do you attribute to Elon vs the original founders?
3rd he's a life-size troll that can really do good and help but doesn't
4th all in our neck of the woods he hired nothing but illegal European workers who were damn near getting killed. I know a few people that work at Tesla Fremont and they love it. Economically, their lifestyles seem to have grown and they really seem happy. All of them are from the greater Bay Area.
5th as soon as California, the place that gave him the cred and space to build something asked for money in the form of taxes to help he moved to texas. He moved the company HQ to Texas because the Business Taxes are much lower. There aren't any large or even medium-scale auto manufactures based in California. Other than a handful of exceptions, the only Fortune 500 companies based in California are Tech companies. Do you believe that he owes it to California to keep Tesla HQed here forever? Even if it is millions more in Taxes and the rules might negatively impact the business?
6th has faulty parts that will be recalled soon but is paying to play essentially. Thank you for bringing up this point. I looked into Tesla's durability and see there are alot of articles citing reliability issues. This is interesting and I hadn't heard about this before. Thank you.

Thank you for sharing. I have some questions and thoughts which I put in Red. My questions are not meant to argue but I fuck with Elon and Tesla heavy and really want to explore if my paradigm of thinking is rooted in ignorance. I feel like Tesla has influenced the whole car industry to shift to electric cars and an overall renewable energy outlook. This benefits the health of everyone on the planet and reduces the destruction we do to our planet. Tesla has recently received the highest safety ratings from the major respected safety organizations in the US. Tesla is creating large scale autonomous vehicles. If successful, this might save a million lives a year ifrom vehicle accidents and save billions in potential financial losses. I experienced those Boring tunnels in Vegas and they have serious potential to reduce traffic and/or reduce the time that first responders can get on emergency scenes. Starlink will make the internet available worldwide. That will be life-changing for so many people in the opportunities that it will open up. All of these things I attribute heavily to Elon Musk.

I don't think financial struggle is essential to that. I think understanding from a young age yes and no and some things you can and some things you can't do is what makes a good person. an ego unchecked becomes a monster every single time.

How much of Tesla's success do you attribute to Elon vs the original founders?
He is doing what Steve Jobs did. He's become the face and name of the company. The vision itself is from the scientist working hard to do things and bring him things he can shill. If he ever paid tribute to the original founders I wouldn't have a problem but he acts like he started it and if people don't let you know that he bought a company already doing these things then you wouldn't even know.

I know a few people that work at Tesla Fremont and they love it. Economically, their lifestyles seem to have grown and they really seem happy. All of them are from the greater Bay Area.

That can very well be true. He also used Eastern European Slave labor in order to build the comfy space they now enjoy working in.

So if he an every man like he tries to sell you or is he just a shrewd businessman who doesn't care about the overall human condition?
Cause he sells himself as the billionaire every man I have the same imagination as you this is what i think about this or that this is how we can help people etc
and also wait they want to tax me so id actually tangibly help people i don't like that...
if he was like look i love money I'm a money dude get on the money team like a floyd then id have no issues cause he isn't selling himself as something he's not.
he offered to fix flint's water crisis and then retracted that offer.
he just offered to end world hunger under "Reasonable" conditions
he hasn't

No worries it's just the game they have the name and the fame and the cult and the money to bury these stories so that if you're not looking for them then you won't see them.
Again he used slave labor to build the plants and he's time person of the year lol

Who is he fucking over and how? Which Financial Institutions is he toying with and how is he doing it?
There are 5-10 threads on here saying get in on Doge
he's long gone from doge they're riding a wave to $1 that's not coming and putting in a lot of money they can't afford to lose in a pandemic
and that's just here on BGOL
meanwhile he rode the wave made hundreds of millions shilled it sold it at the top and these people are still holding on.

he's fucking over the people he keeps telling everyone he cares about.

over the years, others have told her how to run her business, including changing its name to broaden its appeal beyond Black women and girls. "Our name is Black Girls Code, and we're unapologetic about that and we wouldn't budge," she said.

On Tuesday, Bryant learned that she had been pushed out of the company after she lost access to her computer and email account.

 This is what happens when you have to beg white people for money.

Thank you. One thing that stood out was the Flint water promise. In looking into it, Musk donated $480,000 to cover the cost of installing ultraviolet water stations in all Flint school buildings and the administration building. As far as him replacing Flint's whole water system, I'd imagine that there would be way too much red tape for that to be a possibility within the next decade.

But I'm also sure he knew that before he announced he'd do it.

So get all the press and not actually do it?
Or he's not smart enough to realize what you and I already know is a huge obstacle?

I can definitely understand the position of holding Musk accountable for everything he communicates but I have a different perspective. What we are discussing is a Twitter post. I’m not sure how much analysis (if any) Elon made prior to Twitting it. He did donate almost half a million which is more than most and he didn’t have to do. Do you feel it would have been better to not say anything and not donate anything vs Twitting and donating?

I'm going to withhold judgement until the "“serious allegations of workplace impropriety" are announced. If she had been a man the thread would be 20 pages already with rumors over what really happened...
Yep but it is “believe all women”. Like I said, unfortunate situation but based on what I’ve seen, just another example of someone that got high on their own (narcissistic) supply.

A Twitter post where he has millions of followers and can and does effect the market when he posts and he knows this and it's why other similar CEOs don't post reckless things
And why the SEC is on his case

But also if I said hey I'll paint your house for you. You need it and I got the resources to do it

Then I say well nah I'm going to paint just this wall in the living room. That's it sorry I know I said I'd do the whole house but it's too much red tape
I painted this wall though which is more than others would do so take care.

That cool or nah?

She treated employees like shit, she was a horrible leader from a tactical perspective and and micromanager that could not handle the scale of the foundation’s growth.

you can find posts on the internet dating back to pre-pandemic to see it and what former AND current employees have said @ViCiouS
thanks

As the infighting was occurring, Bryant said in an August interview with Inc, that over the years, others have told her how to run her business, including changing its name to broaden its appeal beyond Black women and girls. "Our name is Black Girls Code, and we're unapologetic about that and we wouldn't budge," she said.

On Tuesday, Bryant learned that she had been pushed out of the company after she lost access to her computer and email account.

She should be able to 'code' her way back in...right?

I don't like when people say this why would we read the glassdoor review of a place we not trying to work?
Now just say hey look at the reviews she might have been terrible then i go ok cool let me look at the reviews to see if she was terrible.
Glassdoor reviews aren't what get people fired or replaced, but the few reviews up there have been consistently bad for the last 3 years.

Which is fine but my point is that say hey look at the reviews to maybe get an idea of what might have happened.
I'm not cruising on glassdoor to look at other companies I'm not interested in pursuing that's just me.

Her supposition conveys:
  • Everyone knows what glassdoor is
  • Everyone should've used it in this situation
  • If you didnt use it you're lazy
  • It is irrefutable evidence of malfeasance
How bout none of that applies?
