What have 'we' discovered in Antarctica, besides Penguins? Where are the public International flights to Antarctica? Where are the International Cruise ships to Antarctica docking? Where are the mined resources stored from Antarctica? Why aren't regular people able to access or live there?

Each satellite are geostationary, meaning that are fixed at a certain height, longitude, and latitude. In order to accomplish that, the satellites have to travel at the same speed the earth travels. On top of that, each satellite provides three particular channels (red, blue, green) that scan the earth for high resolution monitoring.
I use those three channels to produce true color images of the earth.

You can even see the Sun’s reflection off the water in the lower right-hand corner of the image below.
