I haven’t accessed the board from a PC or a Mac in almost a decade, it’s been strictly my phone or tablet. When we could access it via Tapatalk that was cool too, but then that got axed. If memory serves me correctly, the Tapatalk era was prior to the full board upgrade.

I understand what you mean but there's more complaints with the board when people use their phones compared to PC.

I don't know why that's the case but that seems to be the only problem is this board doesn't seem to work properly on mobile compared to PC.

I get errors and the board loading for a minute or a while on my phone but it's blazing fast on my PC!

Edit: Just now the board took a while to make this comment using PC but I think HNIC is working in the background to fix issues.

Why?

1) my phone or tablet is with me 99% of the time, allowing me access to the board when and wherever I want, and is discrete enough that I shut it down if/when necessary.

2) it’s just simpler.

3) basically everything else I do online or offline can be done without a PC/Mac. I own laptops for both, but if I’m on them, which is rarer each year, it’s for work or business. BGOL is for chillin, and chillin is a mobile device activity for me.

I just haven’t had all the issues on mobile devices that others have stated, and I value the convenience. The board is home, but I’m on here a lot less than I was 10, 15, 20 years ago, and mobile makes it convenient.

Same for me mostly— I sometimes go to the site on my laptop but I’ve been 90% cell for the last couple of years.

Man I used to spend HOURS each day in the college computer lab on the board in the early days, all the way back to OnProbation. Then it was the laptop with a long ass Ethernet cord, then WiFi, then mobile. Speaks to the longevity of this place of solace!

The board has been lagging and with me using another hosting site called "IMGBB" it's been slow to upload pics.

Some of these image hosting sites have become an issue. Postimage has been fine with it being fast.

The board was running on fumes on sunday because a lot of people on this board was saying the same.

HNIC seems to have fixed it with the board running a little better but I'm using my PC and not phone.

The number of guest is what's got me screwed up.
Right now we have 8,539 guest, most of them are bots.

There's gotta be a way to delete them bots because clearly that's what slowing it down.

There's a lot of people who lurk not posting shit.

I wished you had found a way to force people to post or don't give them access to this board since they're taking up space.

This bots things is VERY concerning and messed up that HNIC has the foot the bill for that.

Yeah, it was an issue with the loading since HNIC was doing work on it. But it seems to be running a little bit better on my end using PC.

I think it's gonna take some time for him to get these issues with the board resolved.

It's always been my phone that it has given me the most issues compered to my PC.

Its been everything for me, its still stalling now. But you are correct, we all have to be patient. I know HNIC working on it.

My concern now is this bots thing.

Yeah, the bots are ruining the board and need to get deleted permanently because this board shouldn't be having that many bots which is concerning.

I only use my phone and PC.....I have a tablet that's collecting dust right now.

Hopefully we get some answers soon about a solution and the problem being solved.
