No way man, what Loki showed in Thor was deadly and ambitious. Letting him hardball The Avengers was a good move. It sets up the build up to Thor 2 and Avengers 2 some years from now. The films plot notwithsatnding, it seems feasible that he was thinking ahead of everyone. Thats old school Loki vs The Avengers. He is the original reason why they all came together to begin with.
Osborn must be the new shit. In film terms, the legacy of Osborn was ruined with Spiderman. And thanks to Sony, Marvel cant even touch theyre own shit so that point is dead.

little off topic...but am I the only one that thinks Avengers was not worth the 1billion that it made? Maybe you have to be a comic book/Marvel type of dude in order to really get into these type of movies....but after I saw this movie I felt like it was extremely over hyped. I was hearing about Avengers being the best movie ever made...but after I saw it I was like 
The Hulk was doing his thang....but overall the movie wasnt that great imho. Out of Avengers, Transformers, the last Batman, etc etc....the only comic book/video game based movie that I can say that Ive actually enjoyed are the XMen movies. Mainly the earlier one's.

i may be out of the loop... but why the fuck would the avengers battle norman fucking osborne? he barely made a decent spidey villain. and besides loki IS the reason the avengers were formed in the first place. any other villain in the first flick would be utter garbage/bullshit.

First off I think that Loki plan was nice if true. Second, The Avengers didn't lose because they avenged Earth. All the Avengers are from Earth except Thor. So saying they lost when they saved Earth is not losing. Now loki plan can be a great chain story that continues to connect Thor 2 and Avengers 2. But Avengers won and Loki won. Thor and Ashguard have a bigger problem on their hands.

Yes. Nobody said Joss was a pure genius and The Avengers was certain perfection on film.
This is history being made for comic books, comic book writers, screenwiters, comic book movies, tent pole summer movies, ensemble films and geeks all over the world in one fail swoop. No one expected it to be this big. Not Marvel. Not Disney. Not the geeks. Joss wasnt even sure, he just said fuck it and did whatever he wanted - pass or fail.
I dont see how someone can question whats happening here. I know the masses are stupid but NOT when it comes to something like this. There are way too many smart minds rolling with this one and if you cant see the movement, you are NOT one of them.

Did you see that marvel mini animation series where Loki captures Thor and becomes King.....shit is a fucking heartbreaker....had me sad as hell for him.
Haven't read all threads so sorry if mentioned but Thor is only person who actually loves Loki and always has, has prevented Loki from dying or getting what he deserves a bunch of times and never has tried to slay Loki if I remember correctly no matter what Loki has done.
