The Americans: The 2nd best espionage/spy show on TV

Damn I didn't even recognize Ewen McGregor in that Fargo trailer... Damn you FX why must you make it so hard for Matthew Rhys to get his damn Emmy. :fuckyousay:

This scene with them digging a hole in silence for at least 10 minutes for William is a reason why the Americans is a masterpiece. No other show would be willing to do.

cold world
homie was down for the cause and caught a bullet for being a clutz

and damn every season they step their spy game
how the fuck Elizabeth & Phillip setup another family for another long con

And a fellow Russian one at that...

And their pretend Kid and his staggered house lighting.... was fucking amazing.

Holy Shit... I just realized that the person Elizabeth killed was Hans.. The dude she spent all that time back in Season 3 training to be an asset.

I think he was south african, but I'm almost positive that was him...

Gonna game up the new russian's on the block for the information find out what he tells the u.s. government and then eliminate him.
Kid spy goes to school and lives by himself all week. Why not take that gig? I'd have 35 babies by the end of the school year.
Paige developed actually feelings because she ain't a spy. At first she was like let me do this now she like "But mom and dad i love him"
Stan is recovering. He handed a girl a cup of water and he in love.
Cut a chunk of thigh meat like he was at the deli.
They give you perfect episodes.
Everybody is updated in their new lives. Had some intense moments and you get some top secret spy shit and a murder
Operating at a high level.

yep that was him
he was completely done for the cause and initially i think he had feelings for Elizabeth

but one misstep and now he that gulag in the sky

question: why wouldn't the government burn william's body other than being a plot contrivance.

i think in that situation the body would've been burned to eradicate the uncontrolled disease and eliminate the possibility of it contaminating the area down the road

and damn the kid playing henry might be the tallest person on the show?

how soon before he starts bringing chicks home?

and i know stan aint a creep but his relationship with henry is still odd. initially henry was a stand in for his estranged relationship with his son and stan was a surrogate parent for henry always absent parents.

but now stan seems to be in a good place with his son? whats with all the henry love.

does he want to join by any means necessary? is he already making wedding plans for the kids and writing his speech

When Hans fell in the pit and showed the cut on his hand, I said to my wife that's like a zombie bite in TWD, he had to go. Elizabeth wasted no time. She's a machine.

I was like WTF is going on at first with the whole fake family setup, before realizing it was another mission. The kid playing their son for the mission is savage. He's ready to put a bullet in the Russian dude shitting on the country.

Looks like Oleg life is going to suck. I wonder if they'll find out he dimed to the FBI. Ninaaaaaaaa!

I wouldn't be surprised if Philips Russian son meets his end shortly after showing up on his doorstep. The center can't risk the complication from such a curveball. Elizabeth will not have this kid around long.

Looking forward to the next episode.

This show is so fucking perfect... every scene is just perfect. Nothing really happened tonight but yet everything happened.

Side note... Something tells me that Stans new chick is a Russian Plant.

They need someone to keep track of what's going on in Stans life.

oK I missed last two and half seasons. who is this kid watching A team, they're taking his advice is he someone important?
