Youngmoney, But if we account back to the five or so years ive spent laughing at the snicks in your face, the one Amare team response would effectively be the one thing that stuck of the tons of shit you have thrown against the wall. Also, you cant say the days of overpaying have stopped by hiring Phil when his hire itself was yet another example of someone getting GROSSLY overpaid to do god knows what exactly. Thus far- and its very early I admit- his tenure has started with a failure. His hand picked first choice left him at the altar and the remaining names being thrown around are nothing short of half parts horrendous and hilarious. That organization is a mess from top to bottom. And giving 60million to a 70year old first time time exec of poor health, whos only success came as a coach of 3 top 15 players of all time (none of whom he drafted) is a risk at best, and further incompetence at worst. I just don't see anything here that would give you reason to give patience and benefit of the doubt as a fan. I could be wrong but I doubt it.

Amajorfucup, right now I challenge you to find two things I've said amongst the "tons of shit" I've said regarding the Knicks that is outrageous.

First, the Kerr shit is a blessing, it established that Phil has parameters and boundaries when making deals. He knew guys like Jason Kidd and Mark Jackson got $2M a season with no experience. Second, Phil's objective is to establish respectability and an identity. You niggas with this short sighted vision don't get it: the Knicks didn't pay $60M for five years of Phil's service, they paid for the Phil Jackson brand and legacy that will remain associated with the team past his departure. Phil will groom his guys and eventually they will take over later.
