Thank you Spurs for FINALLY putting the MJ vs Lebron debate to rest… FOREVER!!!

but he can make his teammates better. he was the best player in the league by far? why were superstars not lining up to play with him? he is such a great leader and teammate right?

Why didnt superstars line up to play with MJ in Washington? He had total control and the best he could get was Charles Oakley? Christian Laettner? Bryon Russell? Tyron Lue? That's the best of vets he could lure to DC? Really?

Why arent superstars flocking to play under him here in Charlotte? Because they know he's cheap and his understanding of the game is greatly inflated by his fans and longtime shoe buyers.

why would they line up to play in charlotte? he is not the coach or a player.

In Washington he was. Whats his excuse there? A team with MJ who was shooting 20 shots a contest and starting in the all star game couldnt make the WEAK east behind T-Mac's Magic, and Shuttlesworth's Bucks.

Players didn't want to play in CLEVELAND. Point blank. It wan't his job to get players it was the front office job to do that. And that's the reason he left the team. People fault a man for making the right decision and leaving when a team owner shows him no progress over 7 years.

cats here have an inflated perception of the importance of their opinion

beyond the barbershop and twitter these put to arguments dont mean much...

lebron is just 30...this nikka could conceivably win 3-4 more mvps and 3-4 more rings....

then what?
Then they will say he needed other superstars, or Jordan was undefeated in the Finals, therefore James is a bum or overrated...:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Jordan was was better than Kobe, James, etc... Back in his day there was a thing called hand checking... Also back in Jordans day niggas weren't moist, therefore rules didn't have to be changed to accommodate moist niggas... Niggas got beat down going to the hole. Sometimes niggas got thrown into the 3rd row for trying to go to the hole. The game was much harder then and Jordan still averaged 30 points per game.

With that said, James is the best in this era... I like watching him play, I root for him, and I think he's a winner...

Dude was 40, stop with your bullshit. Lebron isn't as beloved right now as jordan, and he doesn't sell as many shoes as Jordan. Name a series were MJ was the main reason the team lost?

I can't remember Jordan playing on a team with no center no rebounders no pg, no shooting guard, two outside shooters both around 40, no passers, and three guys who plays that casper defense..

These moist rules were created for Euro trash teams like the Spurs, the Heat would have stood a much better chance if they were allowed to play by the old more physical rules..
What I find weird how folks here can complain all day about the moist rules yet root for a team like the Spurs the poster boy for the new rules and a team that gained the most from these new rules..

lebron did it last year, so it shouldnt be an excuse this year.

So what Timmy is 38 and just won a Finals.

If he was so old and decrepit maybe he shouldnt've took so many got damn shots like he was '88 Mars Blackmon MJ. Maybe his old ass should not have embarrassed himself and made himself the focus of the team OVER younger players. He could've easily done like Magic did in '96 when he returned from his HIV exile and deferred to his younger teammates. But MJ is a egotist, and a a chronic gambler and much too dumb to do that. Thats why the Wizards experiment failed miserably and they werent a playoff team. Scottie wasnt there to bail him out and Doug Collins is no Phil Jackson.

I remember dudes being pissed off with Vince Carter, calling him selfish and begging him to let Daddy Jordan start over him in the '03 ASG. All that babying, all that coddling, all that rewarding a player when he doesnt deserve it for marketing purposes. MJ just isnt LeBron, and ignoring his failures will not make it so.

You basically said a whole bunch of nothing

20 6 REBS 4 ASST 2 STEALS A GAME AT 40 WHILE PLAYING 37 MINS A GAME SHOOTING 45% FROM THE FIELD AT FUCKING 40

But couldnt lead a team that he GM'ed and built STARRING him to the playoffs in the weak East. When it comes to LeBron James, Michael Jeffrey Jordan is overrated. A team led by Bron would never go out like that. Inkosi's fans dont have to beg anybody to give up anything, all star spots or whatever so he can prosper. :smh:

but inoski had to join his daddy dwade to win a championship, he had to see a sports physiologist to get over the hump. He wanted to be baby jordan just as bad kobe, he wore 23 like his idol. What shoe company is he with?nike, just like his idol.

anybody trying to make a claim that lebron had no help with the roster that he crafted and put together, loses all credibility.

they chose the players and the coach.

they just lost to a better team.

also

dave this spurs team doesn't all the other teams jordan faced.. they might beat 1 or 2 but let's not play that mess.

lol, lebron lovers are so mad, they starting to bring out Jordans years with the Wizards.

5-2 in finals appearances

kobe_trophies_web.jpg

Plus 2-0 in the Olympics.

Le Bronze is 2-1. :lol::lol:

Why do people talk about Chicago and Cleveland like Chicago was some great franchise before Jordan

Their claim to fame was a old George Gervin and Artis Gilmore

Which wasn't bad years statically or team wise....they were the 9th seed with a bunch of scrubs

But Jordan had no will to win and couldnt get them in the postseason. Yall stay moving goal posts in for this guy. "The Wizards were competitive" :smh::lol:

He was almost 40 and hadn't played in four years nitwit

Then he should not have been taking the majority of the shots and he damn sure shouldnt be taking all star roster spots from younger more deserving players. Wilt's last game was in the Finals, Kareem's last game was in the Finals, Russell's last game was in the Finals, Tim at 38 just won a Final. MJ at 39 and 40 couldnt even get his team in the playoffs in a weak division. I mean its so bad his fans have to "pretend" he didnt even play for them and don't want us to count that as part of his career. :smh:

Exactly. Chicago was ass and best know for being the team the

White Shadow played for. :lol::lol:

griffey still could pass barry bonds in alltime homeruns to while he still alive but the chances of both those happening are pretty much zero

bruh...griffey fell off long ago....lebron is still in his prime and still the best player in the nba....

the hate is strong in you

I don't know why there is SOOOOO much Lebron hate. Just look at it this way... Cleveland sucked dick... they had the 1st pic and get Lebron. When he was at Cleveland, they were competitive every year. The year he left Cleveland wound up with the 1st pick.

He single handily made that team good. Can anyone even name anyone else on those teams?

When Jordan left the Bulls, the Bulls were still a threat. They would've went to the finals if it wasn't for some bullshit calls down the stretch.

The reality is this... The Bulls without Jordan were still holding it down... Any team without Lebron sucks... This should end this thread.

coppin' major pleas :smh:

Inkosi's 2014 NBA Finals statline:

28.2 points (57.1 FG%), 7.8 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 2.0 steals, 51.9% 3PT, 79.3% FT

He led his team in points, rebounds, assists, steals, FG%, 3 point makes, & 3 point %.

All San Antonio proved is what we already know, LeBron James is STILL the best player on the planet.
