There is no way to recover anything once it’s been opened or bought for that matter.

When we have a party order, we accept the base payment and then they cover any extras ON SITE.
Once she got a representative on the line, a wire should have been processed before that phone call ended.
This is a inexperienced small business owner who has absolutely no business accepting that order without any payment.
And that’s just to break even to make your regular day.

Young brother, verbal contracts are still contracts. Also, they are in San Jose, taking those kind of orders from major tech companies is probably standard operating procedure and something she has done routinely. Again, focus on the real issue here, not lecturing a victim.

On Thursday evening, a Tesla representative named Laura contacted Rasetarinera and apologized about the delayed payment. Laura also upped the order to 4,000 pies, assuring Rasetarinera that money was not an issue.
Rasetarinera said that she and her team had worked overtime to pull off the mega order. But Tesla never responded to several invoices sent from the pie company for payment.

You've been on the board long enough to know better
Some people shouldn’t be in business. If anyone else would’ve called in an order of that magnitude, believe me, the owner would’ve requested a deposit, but because it’s a fortunate 500 company, they were treated differently. At the end of the day, set your guidelines and stick by them. Business is business.
