3 things...
1. Not the point guys.
2. We dont know if she did or didnt.
3. Even if she did. It wouldnt cover her losses.
A tetherWhat kind of idiot takes such a large order without a deposit?
No. Its not the point. The point is a breach of contract by a corporation. The deposit would not have changed that one bit. Deposits are to partially cover cost and mitigate potential loss. Regardless if she got one or not there would still be breach and loss.
And that’s just to break even to make your regular day.Unless the deposit was $16k
It's been a loss
Focus on the important things
2 things can be true and 1 thing can mean 2.It was a well known multi billion dollar biz of course they are not gonna get the same treatment as you and I.. their money making venture is well known, do they know if you are able to cover the cost with your occupation? So I expect to be treated differently than they would with a huge name.. and as someone else pointed out other multi billion dollar biz have did orders with her and paid their bill
*perishable goodTESLA A MULTI BILLION DOLLAR CORP SHOULDN'T ORDER $16K OF GOODS FROM A SMALL BUSINESS AND CANCEL IT
That's all that should be said here there's no way to mitigate the chance of a lifetime for a small business
Live and you learn.. majority of bizz would want upfront money. She on the other hand has done the samething with other big companies and haven’t got screwed over till now. As they say sometimes one person will spoil it for the rest. Tesla is that one person2 things can be true and 1 thing can mean 2.
She did business wrong
I woulda been asked for money regardless of who it is
How many times have we seen people do things for a celebrity and not get payment because of they “status”
I don’t give a fuck if a nigga is known for pissing out liquor gold
Pay me for what u want
Before a pack gets sent out, payment has been secured period.
Debatable. She has stated that has conducted business this way in the past and never had this issue. How YOU operate YOUR business is immaterial.Um no it IS the point
This isn’t fucking car parts for a tune up
Everything in the food industry is perishable items
There is no way to recover anything once it’s been opened or bought for that matter.
She did business wrong.
When we have a party order, we accept the base payment and then they cover any extras ON SITE.
Once she got a representative on the line, a wire should have been processed before that phone call ended.
This is a inexperienced small business owner who has absolutely no business accepting that order without any payment.
Law of averages caught up to herLive and you learn.. majority of bizz would want upfront money. She on the other hand has done the samething with other big companies and haven’t got screwed over till now. As they say sometimes one person will spoil it for the rest. Tesla is that one person
Apples to oranges (no pun)Debatable. She has stated that has conducted business this way in the past and never had this issue. How YOU operate YOUR business is immaterial.
Now, what isnt debatable is that Tesla breached their contract which resulted in damages. Thats the only issue here. The rest of that shit yall talking is just that.
Young brother, verbal contracts are still contracts. Also, they are in San Jose, taking those kind of orders from major tech companies is probably standard operating procedure and something she has done routinely. Again, focus on the real issue here, not lecturing a victim.Apples to oranges (no pun)
We are talking about Tesla
Not who she did business with in the past or future
And what contract did u see?
Please provide a link cause I didn’t read about a contract.
Contracts have securities am I correct?
She believed the hot air that came out of a “representative” mouf who can’t even bother to check her voicemail or email
That is bad business on both parties
Always cover your own ass first.
She gave them a hard deadline in order for production to continue, once that deadline hit, she took matters into her own hands and continued the obligation without securing herself or her business.
Can I retain you or somebody from your firm and wait to pay once my case of resolved the way I want it?
No transaction happening is my biggest gripe.Young brother, verbal contracts are still contracts. Also, they are in San Jose, taking those kind of orders from major tech companies is probably standard operating procedure and something she has done routinely. Again, focus on the real issue here, not lecturing a victim.

Please tell us about that multi-billion business you're running.People saying "Tesla should" blah blah blah, have obviously never run a business.
If you've been in business for awhile, you know people try to scam you often.
Please tell us about that multi-billion business you're running.
People have to understand that When you a small business and get deals like this, they often open up other doors to gain more clients like Tesla (corporate accounts)3 things...

Exactly!!!People who trust billion dollar companies to do the right thing
Tesla isn’t anybody so what you’re saying is meaningless. Some people shouldn’t be in business. If anyone else would’ve called in an order of that magnitude, believe me, the owner would’ve requested a deposit, but because it’s a fortunate 500 company, they were treated differently. At the end of the day, set your guidelines and stick by them. Business is business.
Yeah, they are when it comes to my bottom line. She almost allowed this company to bankrupt her, so what are you saying is meaningless.Tesla isn’t anybody so what you’re saying is meaningless.
Large Orders from a corporation are not the same as a Large private order. You’re victim blaming. She has the receipt and order. She can easily go after them.Yeah, they are when it comes to my bottom line. She almost allowed this company to bankrupt her, so what are you saying is meaningless.
Please tell me what the difference is. BTW: tell that to the people with receipts going after the Trump Corporation for payment.Large Orders from a corporation are not the same as a Large private order. You’re victim blaming. She has the receipt and order. She can easily go after them.
The difference is Tesla is a billion dollar company . Trump is a conman in massive debt. Horrible comparisonPlease tell me what the difference is. BTW: tell that to the people with receipts going after the Trump Corporation for payment.
There isn't a difference, and I said Trump Corporation, or any corporation, for that matter. Bottom line, she fucked up, and I hope she learned from this lesson. The difference is Tesla is a billion dollar company . Trump is a conman in massive debt. Horrible comparison
