Advanced RAR Password Recovery (or simply ARPR) can be used to recover the lost password for a RAR archive. At the moment, there is no known method to extract the password from the compressed file; so the only available methods are "brute force" and dictionary-based attacks. Here is a brief list of ARPR's advantages:
* ARPR has a convenient and easy to use user interface;
* ARPR works with one protected file at a time (multiple uses of ARPR is possible);
* all compression methods are supported;
* self-extracting archives are supported;
* you can select the custom character set for "brute-force" attack (non-English characters are supported);
* you can interrupt the program at any time. Resuming is supported;
* ARPR can work in the background, using the CPU only when it is in an idle state;
* ARPR can utilise either a customizable "brute-force" approach, or an effective dictionary-based approach. The different approaches can be used for all RAR types and compression methods using AES (Rijndael) 128-bit encryption, e.g., set the password length (range) of the character set used to generate the passwords, and many other options;
* A multilingual interface is provided.
Please note that WinRAR has incorporated AES (using the Rijndael algorithm) encryption since V2.9. The security of your data depends not only on the strength of the encryption method, but also on the strength of your password, e.g., length and composition of the password(s). In general, longer passwords are more secure than shorter ones. Passwords that contain a mixture of letters (upper and lower case), digits, punctuation, spaces, and symbols require a "brute-force" retrieval approach, using all printable characters - an extremely CPU intensive, time consuming process.
A user using AES encryption has the highest probability of success against password retrieval programs. This also means that valuable data will be lost indefinitely if the password is forgotten etc. ElcomSoft's password retrieval programs have a place for legitimate users who lose their password(s), but processing power and current algorithms mean, that high encryption and short complex password(s) may be more appropriate if you wish to have any chance of retrieving the password(s) to your valuable data.
ARPR's algorithm, although very effective, is under constant development. Even when using the most powerful optimising password retrieval system it is only possible to test no more than a few thousand passwords each second. Therefore, a "brute-force" attack is effective for files protected with short passwords of up to 5 or 6 characters. The greater the password length beyond 6 printable characters the more infeasible it will be that the password will be retrieved. A dictionary-attack will be your only option and if this is unsuccessful then your valuable data will be lost indefinitely.

H-Craft Championship looks surprisingly good for an indie racing game--after all, major publishers spend millions polishing the graphics for games of this type, and its impressive that a small team was able to produce something that looks so nice.
It's science fictional, in that the racing vehicles are hovercraft that apparently tool along great superhighways in the sky. Also apparently, in the future, road safety is not a major concern of the authorities--perhaps the world is overpopulated and they want people to plummet to their deaths--so that failure in steering doesn't mean, as in other games, that you go off road and lose speed, but instead lose the game.
The main game mode is the championship--a series of events in which victory unlocks more tracks and vehicles. It's a single-player game--no network play--but you can record a 'ghost' of your race and send the file to a friend, so that he can race against your best time, on the same track. Similarly, in 'Rival' mode, up to four players can race on the same track, in succession, against the ghosts of previous contestants, so there is a form of hotseat multiplayer, in any event.
If you enjoy racing games, it's well worth a look.

The Empress Tremolo Plugin is a digital re-creation
of the Empress Tremolo Pedal. We’ve packed all the
features from the pedal and added some bonus features
that you’re going to fall in love with.
Accurate Sync
The Plugin is able to sync to your Digital Audio
Workstation. This means you can play through the
whole song and don’t have to worry about your Tremolo
going out of time. It will sync up at the DAW tempo,
1/2x, 1x, 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, and 6x the DAW tempo. Phase
This feature goes hand in hand with the sync feature.
You’re able to adjust the phase of the Tremolo’s
waveform, this way you can have always pulsing on the
beat, or on the off-beat, or slightly before the
beat, slightly after the beat…. you get the idea.

Stereo Operation
The plugin works in Stereo!! There are four stereo
modes :
Linked: in this setting the Left and Right channels
pulse together.
Ping-Pong: in this setting the Left and Right
channels are opposite - i.e. When the left channel is
loud the right channel is quiet. This allows the
Tremolo to work extremely well as an auto-panner.
Left follows Right : In this setting the waveform
shape of the left channel is slightly delayed
relative to the right waveform.
Right follows Left: In this setting the waveform
shape of the right channel is slightly delayed
relative to the left waveform.
The Stereo modes allow the plugin to act like an
autopanner on steroids!

Waveform Selection
You can modulate your sound with three different
waveforms. An asymmetrical tremolo was modeled after
a '65 Fender Vibrolux (brown face) to give you the
fullest tremolo sound possible. A square wave can be
utilized if you're after a harder sound. And if
you're looking for a more normal tremolo, you can use
the triangle wave setting.
Tap Tempo
The Empress Trem averages your last four taps so it
plays in sync with your music. You can also choose
different tap to tremolo rate ratios. 1:1, 1:2, and
1:4 are available.
Two-Speed Mode
An exclusive feature to the Empress Trem. You're able
to set two different rates, and switch between them
using the tap tempo stompswitch. This is similar to
playing through a Leslie cabinet and changing the
speed.
Rhythms
Another exclusive feature. The Empress Trem will
definitely do your run-of-the-mill tremolo sound to a
tee. But you can also set it to play different
rhythms.
Gain
A problem with most tremolos on the market is that
when they're engaged, you hear a noticeable drop in
volume. The Empress Trem solves this by having a gain
stage on the output. It's able to deliver up to 6dB
of gain to the signal.

I just go with Youtube to MP3 converter from dvdvideosoft.com...It does the job to convert it to mp3 (with a choice of sound quality of 64, 128, and 256) plus the option to convert it to WAV format...
Get the Free Studio Manager to d/l that prog plus a bunch of other useful items...

That's a good one...I use that just for d/l videos though. It's very useful for getting the streaming videos (has a huge list of sites that it can d/l vids from) and is one of the most popular firefox plugins around.
