New Jersey will get Sasha Vujacic and a 2011 first-round pick from L.A., as well asnd a 2012 first-round pick from the Rockets, while the Lakers get veteran Joe Smith (and rid themselves of Vujacic). Smith can't officially be dealt until the 15th so the deal isn't likely to be official until Wednesday, and more elements could surface. T-Will gives Houston some much-needed firepower and will at least have more regular minutes than he had in NJ -- scoop him up if he's still available.

The Bulls have one era of greatness - and that is never taken away from the team.

But outside of Michael Jordan - there is nothing else there for the Bulls historically, and their fans are all connected to that era and nothing else. Bulls fans outside of Chicago aren't Bulls fans, they're Jordan fans - and that's alright.

But as a whole Chicago is worthless to the league. No one gives a fuck if Chicago gets back to dominance, because unless a prime Michael Jordan is on the court for them - they just don't give a fuck.

But New York? Along with Boston and LA these are the only teams that people TRULY give a fuck about - and it's best for the health of the league that these teams are at the very least competitive.

It's no surprise that when Boston and LA started getting their shit together the Finals were having their highest ratings in over a decade. And it was because it was LA and Boston getting it on.

Previously the high marks in the finals were due to Michael Jordan - NOT the bulls.
