Don't bother with the Tablet. Working on one for my gf's daughter. It has Android 2.2/resistive touch screen 1GHz CPU but running netflix on it the video and audio are out of sync. Oh and it can't connect to the Android Market. Gotta connect to the off brand markets. You might want to get one for your kids, but the app market isn't filtered in a way that would keep inappropriate apps from your kids. It would b e good for loading a few movies on for the car ride, but I haven't tested to see if the battery can make it through a movie. Also, this bitch is slow sometimes. It does have HDMI out and 2 mini usb slots, although they only seem to support mice/keyboards.

Beatdown, a card board box is good for a 3 yr old. I think the max is 16 gigs for this tablet. Its more than enough for a 3 yr old, but like I said, I'm not sure how long the battery will last. Should play the vids no problem though. Not sure about what games will and won't run on it besides angry birds.

Bought the netbook from cvs for $100. It runs windows CE I tried to upgrade to 95 or XP but the operating system is stored in the memory. I gave it to my wife to give to a friends kid at her job. It ran ok but to slow for me. Thanks for the info. OP. Still better than what i paid

I copped out myself.. I know I can get some good use out of it.. I got the entire Android Market in a folder on my Laptop so I have all the apps I need and I got plenty of drives I can add to it for space. If i need to I can cop a cheap share battery and Im good.
