This is no trick: The Magicians season 3 is confirmed by Syfy for 2018.
It’s almost a surprise it took this long to renew the series after it posted sizable ratings gains early in the season. The fantasy drama is up 4.5 percent in viewers from season one to season two, with a more than 9 percent increase in the key demo. That means Syfy is finally hitting a younger target audience with The Magicians young and diverse ensemble.
The renewal means Syfy’s trio of The Expanse, 12 Monkeys(both renewed in March), and The Magicians will all likely return in 2018. The Magicians news comes with two episodes remaining in season two.
The series is based on The Magicians novels by Lev Grossman and was adapted for television by Sera Gamble and John McNamara. The series stars Jason Ralph, Stella Maeve, Olivia Taylor Dudley, Hale Appleman, Arjun Gupta, Summer Bishil, Jade Tailor, and Rick Worthy.
Now i just need them to go on and Lock down Dark Matter and Killjoys Season 4 and I'm good...
I must say... that this is definitely not your mothers Sci-Fi.. Looks like the Syfy channel is pulling out a page from the CW's book and letting their cult shows grow.. because overnight and Streaming views are the new norm.
And I know we have said this multiple times before... but Gawd damn the women on this show are hot.
At the 2:09 mark.. I don't blame that young man one bit. My hat's off to you and your game.

if you watch the series on syfy online they have been uncut since season 1. there was some article couple weeks back about giving the show the ok to curse on cable.
Turns out that I actually miss the bleeped out cuss words. It the same problem I had with Mr robot season 3... the bleeped out fucks stood out more.
