Sworn Testimony of NYPD Officer Patrick Pogan

^ You shouldda just reposted the article, instead of point to a link where its buried 3 pages deep in a thread about a separate incident
:smh::smh::smh::smh::smh::smh::smh::smh::smh:

It seems like these incidents are happening every other day.

Thanks, cause I was talking about a different article and video. Cephus was the guys name i think.

and what's your point? same thing happened to ME in broad daylight in a business parking lot next 2 my own car. white cop 8 feet from me pulled a gun, pointed it at me and had his finger on the trigger. there was also a white cop at another time who helped me out of a bad situation.

both cops were white. both were different. there are both crooked cops and good cops who go into that line of work to try and help people. u need to grow up and learn to look at people for what they do as individuals, and not what another man with the same skin tone did.

We agree there are good cops. The problem is the bad ones, and there are many, should have the book thrown at them.

For any crime against a citizen they should get more time, instead they either get off or get real light sentences.

The government refuses to do anything about its revenue generating police, and the police know it so they continue this bullshit, and some of the so called 'good' ones, for the most part ignore the bad doings of the bad ones. So that makes them just as bad IMHO.

Yep i have seen it. I watched a good cop let his crooked partner beat the shit out of a man when i was 15. Then helped him cover it up but not telling the truth. They all bad.

There are lots of good cops; probably the majority are "good" in as far as wanting to help instead of hurt people. ...but the worst part about all this is that, a good percentage, maybe even a majority of those "good" cops have the mentality that makes them either want to explicitly defend, or implicitly allow the bad cops to be bad cops by not reporting, not speaking out against, and not publicly condeming shit like this.

The guy that got beat at the park... since honestly I don't know what happened just before the camera was turned on... I have to stand back and reserve judgement. The cop vs. dude on the bike though... unless someone from that crowd of hundreds can come forward and say that he was riding over toddlers while pelting the crowd with HIV infected hypodermic needles... I think I've seen all I need to see. That fuckin cop just picked dude out and fucked him up. Weaving around on the street doesn't call for that shit, and both he and the cop with him obviously lied when they reported the incident, so that cop belongs off the force, and in general population at some nice correctional facility.

probably the majority are "good"

if you HONESTLY believe that you are very very very naive.

The majority of PEOPLE are not "good" so what would make you believe the majority of cops are

"good?" That is a ridiculous (potentially dangerous) notion to hold. Like beatdown said, it's just a

job and as we have seen time and time again, cops are not properly punished for the abuses they

inflict on joe citizen - and there is no room for debate about that.

anybody that can savagely beat another human being causing that much bodily harm to them on

a daily basis is seriously fucked up in the head. i actually agree that some of that force is

necessary because, after all, we are not talking about children in most of these instances. We

are talking about adults that could pose a serious risk to the officer's safety - but the lengths

that most officers go to demonstrate some scary sociopathic mentalities.

Couple all that with the fact that most laws are in actuality just moral yokes designed to

suppress and oppress you both physically and mentally w/ no real regard to the public welfare -

the only consideration being profit protection- and you start to realize the beef w/ the police...

also watch this clip about gun safety and understand what is so atrocious about having a gun

pointed at you by a trained hand gun operator. this is the exact language I heard from my

instructor when i was licensed - we're focusing on rule number 2

(I tried to build an entire thread around this video but it fucks up every time so there will be no

embedding in this post either, at this time)
