For individuals with only a high school degree or GED interested in the world of project management, Google just opened applications for its Project Management Apprenticeship (March 2026 start).
This is 18 months of paid, full-time experience (40 hrs/week) combining on-the-job training, technical instruction, and career workshops.
At the end, apprentices graduate with a nationally recognized credential and the skills to launch an entry-level career in project management.

→ Paid apprenticeship with structured learning, mentorship, and career readiness support
→ Eligibility: HS diploma/GED, less than 1 year of PM experience, not enrolled in or completed a PM-related degree
What apprentices will do
→ Partner with teams across Google to manage project tasks and workstreams
→ Apply project management skills like planning, tracking, documenting, and reporting
→ Proactively resolve roadblocks and suggest process improvements
→ Build critical communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
