Yeah even though DC kills the cartoons.. Marvel owns the live action stuff. I went and got this.. and was NOT dissappointed.

Not too bad, the part where he put the glasses on and showed lois destroyed the whole movie 
I never read the origin of Doomsday they probably retcotted the story though. Can't see Supe's defeating him with just a heat ray.
From what I remember back in the Superman's Death comic, he first appeared outta knowwhere or from underground or something.

DCAU (DC Animated Universe) is a different universe from the comics. It was actually Justice Lord Superman from another parallel universe who did that to DD. When the DCAU Superman tried that trick, he found out it didn't work anymore, the HARD way.
However, I've always like Supes vs. Darkseid fights, especially when Supes when to Apokolis. Darkseid, voiced by Michael Ironside, was the shit.

After Supes finally gets the upper hand, Supes tells the people of Apokolis that they are free. What do they do? Help Darkseid. Darkseid raises his hand and looks Supes in the face and tells him, "I am many things Kal-El, but here, I AM GOD!"

This "movie" sucked ass
It wasn't as good as most of the superman animated series episodes and paled in comparison to Justice League unlimited.
Action was poorly staged, bad timing, poor voice acting, non existant music and score.
No sense of epic peril
This wasn't fit for broadcast yet alone sale.
Why not just give the TV writers a go at this?

From Batman to the Superman cartoon to the Justice League. The shit was fire. I don't know why they stopped the Justice League Unlimited series, it went off the air in 2006. They need to bring it back. Justice League Unlimited was the best cartoon I have seen in my life. They make the situations so real. Besides Transformers, JLU was the best.
They formed the justice league on the new season of "The Batman". On todays episode batman, robin, and superman took on luthor. And next week Batman and green arrow are teaming up.From Batman to the Superman cartoon to the Justice League. The shit was fire. That was an ill part were Hawkgirl turned on the JL. It was real life situations, and she got banned temporarily from the league.

OK, I know what you're talking about. You talking about that younger Batman. I seen plenty of the shows. It's cool but I still like the other Justice League versions better.
I never liked "The Batman" that much either but it seems like there moving in a whole new direction by bringing in the justice league. This version of the justice league seems to be better so far IMO one of the things i hated about the Cartoon network version Of JL was that they took certain traits away from some of the characters, They focused less on martian manhunter's strength and speed and more on the Telepathy and shape shifting. Plus they depowered superman and he never really showed his real strength until the finale when he cut loose on darkseid.
Don't get me wrong, this is only the begginning so they can still fuck the series up but so far so good. You should should give it a try.
They use to be known as the Superfriends, but they probably feel that the name was too soft. They needed harder name.

They should give what the fans want though. I know there are many people who want the first Justice League and not this shit. I bet you The Batman won't outlive the JLU or the first Batman from 1992.
