When LexCorp accidentally unearths the intergalactic serial killer Doomsday, Superman battles the creature head-on in the fight of his life...literally. rapidshare if you don't have an account you have towait like 2 hours between downloads .. but this site for me each download took like 10 minutes so it's only about 90 minutes to get itall.

pros:
it took a different spin on the doomsaday attack.
stayed focus on Superman and his effect on metropolis.
The fights are comic book level, remember how fierce the last season of JLU was whent came to fighting , this is even crazier.;
People get killed a lot in this , nothing gory but still it's death

cons:
no other superheroes appear in this story
animation style is different
the story doesn't fit into the story-history line of JLA or JLU and it kind of works with Superman TAS but then it makes me wonder again..Where are the other heroes
could have been a lil longer to help arch the plots better and pull you in.

Ya know, beit comic or toon, every time I see this I come to 'xact same conclusion: Superman "died" :rolleyes: (bullshit - it was a coma) because he was stupid.
He got all that speed and for evey blow DD got on him he shoulda got 20 (at the least) times on DD. What does he do; he trades blows with that thing. Damn, didn't this dude ever see any of Ali's fight?

It's a good watch, tho' Ive seen better Animation on Justice League Unlimited. So that means Marvels Animation is way better.

But on the bright side, THIS ANIMATION Is not for KIDS! looks like PG-13. Lots of Killing. Couple of swears. Unfortunately the ending came as no surprise so I give it a 3.5 out of 5.

PS: them cheek bones make him look retarded.

yeah man I agree with "almost" everything you said!! I guess I liked it alot more than you did but Marvel does have better animation than DC!! The drawing was bugged out..Was I the only one who thought everybody looked black??:lol: I know you cant compare animation to a regular movie BUT to me this was 10x better than Superman Returns!! Very graphic and not for the kids.

On a different issue, anyone heard about Ultimate Avengers 3 that supposed to have dropped by now? I got it on the list for DVD rental but those fuckers ain't sendin it, though its sposed to be out??

Anyone got any ideas on this??

The story was bogus. Almost like it could have been meatier. Without the "other hero's" element it kind of sucked. They made it seem like Superman was the only superhuman on the planet. Outside of toyman and Lex there weren't any other villians. His death seemed "rushed" just like his resurrection. I liked the adult feel but the animation could have been better. The Justice League episodes (Series ending) featuring Darkseid was Waaaaaay better than this film. Did Mcduffie write this? Because of that brother had it would have been way better. Dwayne Mcduffie's Justice League episodes were always the best written withing the whole series.

Bruce Timm is responsible for this piece of DOOM! Which is why I'm wondering How come they felt the characters needed a face lift? How come they didn't just use the JLU look like they did in "Braniac Attacks"
 
I saw it this weekend. Only about 16 minutes of this movie is worth seeing. I knew this was going to suck. Timm and crew can do a lot better than this. I said it here first. Justice League: New Frontier will suck ass too. Warner Bros. has to be some of the dumbest MFs I have ever heard of. If it ain't DCAU, I ain't watching it.

Doomsday is from Krypton and older than the actual humanoid civilization that was there. He is the ultimate fighting machine. If they ever "really" brought him back, Sups would actually stay dead this time. Every time he is killed, he evolves in a way where you can't kill him that way anymore. When they fought again, on Apokolips, Sups and Darkseid got they're asses handed to them. DD told Darkseid that his Omega beams were like insect bites to him. :eek::eek::eek: Sups wound up having to send that fool to the end of time.

I'm not a DC fan, but before WWH (World War Hulk), DD was smacking whole teams of superheros like it was going out of style. He defeated the entire JL in about one and a half pages with one of his hands tied behind his back.
