The real problem is that I don't think there is a good option for Black voters in America. We just had 4 years of the worst president in modern history and yet he made gains with the two of the demographics he targeted most often for demonization (latinos, white women). We literally would be looking at 4 more years of Trump but for the Black vote. It is obvious that not voting isn't the option, but it isn't apparent to me what is the answer. The paths that other groups have taken historically are not really open to us because the "alternative" is essentially a rural/suburban white grievance party. I fear that voting for the best of two bad options is all that is available for the foreseeable future and I don't really see how that is sustainable.
