As I said research and document. If needed make the authorities take the report at the hospital to start the fraudulent paper trail. Elderabuse laws are real. Theft by deception is real. Slow roll and have the police work once you get his info.

put her on conference and go thru it all again

turns out ol boy was goin door to door convincing old folk that he was now the local rep for ALL their bills

Even though you did the most vile thing one man can do to another and that's disrespect that man's wife I'm sorry that happened to your mother. The elderly are easy targets because they are trusting of strangers and still value their independence.

Me and my wife look out for an elderly family friend. She's in her early 80's and get around great but don't have family in the city. We go grocery shopping for her, schedule her doctors appointments, make sure her bills are paid monthly, talk to her daily on the phone or in person, pick up her prescriptions, etc. I set her life alert account up for her and she made me her point of contact in case of emergencies and gave me a spare house key. The elderly matter and they value their independence but they have to have someone they trust keeping tabs on them daily in order for it to work if they live independent.

I didn't forget what you said just so you know but I'm sorry about your moms.
 
My advice to those with elderly parents is to stay in their lives. You will notice when their ability to remember starts going south. Once their memory starts to go they will willingly let you take over or look after what they spend.

In our case my mother was starting to miss paying bills and was unsure if she paid a bill etc. My brother took over paying all bills and her bank account is growing with him in charge. It eliminates all of the free-loading siblings.

Some parents have kids who aint shit, that's probably a bigger problem then some scamming outsider.

I can almost guarantee that your mother is not Frank's only victim. Perhaps he got sloppy and mentioned somebody else he does work for. If not then maybe you can set him up before he realizes what's going on. You might not be able to get him on your own, but when you have a few different people coming forth with the same complaints shit starts to happen.

This is why the first rule of paper hustling is that you only steal from the government, corporations, or banks. You never steal from people!

Take a thousand from Uncle Sam it's red ink. Take a thousand from a corporation it's breakage. Take a thousand from a bank it's a bad loan. Take a thousand from a person it's rent and they will hunt you to the ends of the Earth to get it back.

You need to have her call him to fix something and park your car up the street. Have the house wired for sound and video. Offer the mf a glass of water or beer for prints and DNA. Have somebody outside getting his plate number and Vin# and slip a tracker on his shit
 
I used to wonder why many ol folks are snappy and grouchy,

now I see that have to be that way to keep parasites at bay, the nice ones are the ones who are easier targets...

you also gotta watch out for estate lawyers as well....
 
Update on this shit...like I said...that Greek/Albanian cac called my mom....trying to get the Home Depot card she had opened for him...it was maxed out anyway.....telling her that he wanted to pay some of it off...by depositing a check in the account....he couldn't do it in his...cause he had a negative balance........said he dropped the key to the house that she gave him....AWHILE BACK....TO THE HOUSE....in the drain and was trying to retrieve it......THE KEY TO THE FUCKING HOUSE.....she told him that my neice had her keys....we were going to set him up....get an old key to nothing ...that I had from locks past changed at my six family.....let my neice meet up with him....was gonna get there myself like an hour before....take pics of him and his vehicle...possibly follow him too....but he never called my mom back. No point in changing any locks if he does have a key....nothing of value to take...and don't want to alert him that we're on to him....I think he was fishing...chumming the waters to see if anything was up....he was telling her that he needed to get in to do some more work......:hmm::hmm::hmm:....we're waiting to see if he reaches out again !!!!

Once they got her trust...doing a couple of little shit repairs for free.....poking holes in walls to make it look like they was doing something.....repairs were NEVER on their mind again....only picking her up to yake her to get cards....or meeting to get money from her....no doubt in my mind......they're not coming ever again for ANY...repairs !!!!

I am going through this shit now with a friend who is like an uncle and I am the only one around. I don't want him to give up his autonomy but he can't do shit. The predators are out there. Dude almost lost his house, he lost his Medicare. I got it back. He was in a car.accident. Em's took him.home. no one knows where the car is. I went.to the police to.report it. Took him to the doctor yesterday. He's already blind in one eye. The doctor told him that he's going to go to blind in the other eye. All you can talk about was getting a car. He had three Strokes. I wish this shit on no one but it is very real with the elderly.

The thing about this is that if ANYONE has signed this of their OWN will. Many courts may/ will hold them liable. This is where the uphill battle begins.
Unfortunately.... people never read EVERYTHING before they sign. Many times it's too late. The Courts. The Creditors. The Con-artist. All work hand and hand when one thing is involved..... MONEY!!!!

My mom got like 8k hidden away in her house, somewhere that was supposed to be used for her funeral. We still haven't found that shit and she passed in November last year...
 
You know what you have to do right? find him kidnap him beat him to a pulp make him give up all his property locations so you can raid them for anything worth shit then you have to make him deposit everything he owns to your account. then beat him to a vegetable state so he can't say anything about what you did to him.
