There is more strategy involved in Street Fighter than those other games.
Especially compared to Tekken (which I like) where you can knock a nigga into the air and juggle him until the fight is over
And don't don't get me started on Soul Calibur where any old bum can close his eyes, and smack his hands against the buttons and win a match.
Virtual Fighter is complex (extremely) but it's not half as fun as Street Fighter.![]()
Couldn't disagree with you more there...
Button-mashers could always freak off on any game if they got the right player and if their opponent sucks (I'm a firm believer of there is no such thing as 'cheese' per say, only simple folk fall for the same move three times in a row...)
Pick a franchise and I could tell you how scrub button-mashers could have you either refillin' that arcade game card or getting more tokens.
SF = Jumping HK, Ducking HK. Rinse and Repeat.
SC = Nightmare/Siegfried - Back + Horizontal
Tekken = Paul, Heihatchi, Wang = Hammer fist Or before we knew what to do, Eddie/Christies Flare kicks.
I could go on for days about this but you get the point fam. Where I do agree this SF is much better than its predessors, great skill was required to play the other games at a HIGH level.
