My anger would be directed at the parents who knew those kids couldn't swim, the parents should be arrested for child neglect and being fuck ups
The worker was kinda underneath the water to and he seemed taller than the cousin.. so if the cousin who had no idea how deep that water was jumped in , it might have been 2 dead black kids.. his screams alerted the nearby worker who hopped in and saved the kid.. now would you be mad at the cousin or the fact your son is 6 and you didn’t teach him how to swim?…shifting blame to the cousin and not you teaching your child how to survive the jungle is pretty easy for not taking responsibility
True but yhat faggity ass kid was almost the same height as the worker and the water wasnt deep enough to cover his head, plus he had a long ass stick but instead of attempting to rescue his cusin he cried like a bitch as soon as he realized the water was deeper than his hips.

The water wasn't over his head, so why was he scared? As an older brother who risked my life to save my little brother's life by placing my life in danger by grabbing him when he slipped off a beach rock and into the deep water, it makes me cringe seeing that crying ass kid not attempt to get into the water to see if it was over his head.
The water wasn't over his head so he didn't even have to swim, something he could have known if he wadnt fagging out.
Why would the mother entrust the care of her child to someone who can't swim?
She knew that MoFo couldn't swim and she let them go to the pool anyway. Just like someone already said, "Teach kids how to swim early."

I hear you bro, but that's another kid(not an adult) who also didn't know how to swim. The blame is completely on the mother. How the fuck do you send a kid to play at the pool who doesn't know how to swim with a goddamn pool float? Bad parenting was the absolute cause of this situation. I'm glad the maintenance guy was there to save that kids life. I've put my kids in swim classes at least 3 summers in a row and I still wouldn't let them go to the pool without me. That's fucking crazy.

this same thing happened to me when i was 6. Except i didnt fall off a float.
I saw another kid my age jump in the deep end and begin treading water......looked so easy.
So i jumped in thinking i could do it and was flailing just like this kid til someone jumped in and saved me.
However, on that same day, i learned how to swim after that incident.

A lot of us black folks can't swim, never will ever be able to swim..
I do agree, you gotta teach them early to swim or else it'll be too late to teach them now since they will forever be scared to drown.
Also, I've seen people have their kids in a pool without a lifeguard to keep them afloat which is dangerous when that child doesn't know how to swim.

This is how you end up with two dead kids.
You keep sayign it wasn't over his head, but that kid didn't know that. You see in the video he started to get into the water, and when his feet didn't reach the bottom, he got back out.
That kid "fagging out" as you call it saved his cousin't life.
Okay explain why he didn't go down the ladder when his cousin was a few feet away or at the very least call for help, instead of crying like a bitch.
He felt helpless, panicked was in shock and was scared.
Breh, the kids was obviously scared of the water and couldnt swim himself. Not the kids fault, its the parents fault.

My kids can swim since they were 5 & 6, we have a pool. They are teenagers now, the older has her CPR certification.
Its way to many accidents to not prepare your kids and teach them to swim.
I was about to say the same thing.
He knew that he couldn't swim and knew that he'd drown if he jumped in too.
It was a rough situation to be in not knowing anything that he could do to help.
Not to mention that he couldn't swim either so they both would've been dead.
I understand the anger from @RoadRage because he's looking at the situation from the perspective of a Dad or relative, "You sitting there with your cousin's dying and all you did was scream".
I get it, but I understand that he couldn't swim. Was scared, felt helpless and all of those emotions at the same time came out in the form of scream.

That happened to me at the Boys & Girls club. I was feeling myself in the shallow pushing off the side with the paddle board. Jumped into the deep end and was splashing and screaming like a bitch. They pulled me out with the stick and I was sitting on the side for rest of the hour embarrassed as hell.
He was watching his cousin die, he didn't see the ladder.
Man stop. There are plenty of cases where the other kid did exactly as you shitting on his cousin for not doing and they died. Bottom line is if you cant swim wear a life jacket or floating devices. If you have kids that can't swim and you have them in a body of water. Make sure they have a life jacket and you keep your eyes on them.
Its as simple as that but he'll call them faggits for wearing a life jacket being in the pool. It's a lose-lose situation with this guy no matter what y'all say.
Now if the kid was in the middle of the pool and the water was above his head I would agree with you. But, if the water is below your nose and you cry like a witch well then you are a sissy in my book.
