Stephen King's 'The Outsider' (discussion)

Man this looks good... but now I know we are waiting so long for more Ozarks.

In Flint City, Oklahoma, police detective Ralph Anderson arrests popular teacher and Little League Baseball coach Terry Maitland in front of a crowd of baseball spectators, charging him with raping, mutilating, and killing an 11-year-old boy. The town quickly turns against Maitland. Maitland insists he is innocent, and hires his friend and lawyer, Howie Gold, to assist him, but Anderson has eyewitnesses and clear physical evidence (DNA and fingerprints) of his guilt. In the meantime, eager reporters harass Terry's wife, Marcy, and his two daughters, Sarah and Grace.

This show is crazy, similar style and mystery to Ozark but a with a "Night Before" twist.

The musical score with all the hint reveals after the second episode has me wondering whodunit. I have my suspicions but wanna hear from anyone else who's watched it before I spoil it for who hasn't watched.

Show is immediately up there on my list of shows to follow. Ozark status dammit lol

I watched the premiere episode last night before going to bed.

It is a interesting show and it’s looking to have some sort of supernatural twist to it.

I’m going to watch episode 2 tonight.

Ozark is back in April

Also, this book (The Outsider) was a great read. Whole time I read it I thought it would make a great TV show. Wonder if they changed anything, I'm going to check it out. Also can't wait for new The Stand series.

Lastly, I hope King's comments yesterday regarding diversity in art don't detract folks from watching

Ozark Season 3 debuts March 27th, 2020.

Netflix has a bunch of series and TV debuts to compete against Disney+ Clone Wars debuting in March. Netflix has a bunch of debuts in April to compete against NBC/Universal new Peacock streaming service.

I'm gonna start the series tonight. It sounds riveting enough. I'd intended to start watching after His Dark Materials wrapped up but got distracted with a couple of Netflix shows and watched Dracula a couple of times. :giggle:

Great mystery. You can see things coming but you don't know how they're coming. Better to just wait until the entire season airs and watch them all together. This once a week shit is a joke.
I've been recording the series but HBO was tripping on Sunday and my DVR didn't and it wasn't available On Demand either. :hmm::angry:

You might have to download it.
This is the first series that I've had an issue with DVRing or watching OD. :dunno:
I'd missed the beginning of the last episode and it wasn't airing again for another 2hrs so I went to watch the recording...nada, OD...only the first three episodes available.
