They about to remake a classic. The Running Man.Trailer out

The Running Man isn't a "classic" in any real traditional sense. But it did manage to develop a kind of cult following.
Hopefully, whatever newer, "re-imagined" version won't go the way of other "new takes" on previous Arnold Schwarzenegger films have. (Anyone remember Jason Mamoa's Conan or Colin Farrell's Total Recall?) :dunno:

Also want to see what they'll do with The Long Walk (another King story he wrote under a alias).. they're filming it now i think,Mark Hamill plays the general

man....no way they can top this...

arnold....

da god Yaphet Kotto

i have never met anyone else named Yaphet....he was a damn Bond Villain ......

usually I be like nah...but that whole premise would work today. They betta not fk it up

^^^^

I can tell you this pretty much across the board.

No one SETS OUT to make bullsh*t

All that money time energy and your reputation... is important.

They always set out for it to be GOOD. No one wishes to f**k up. But your right it's HITTING THE MARK that's the trick.

Sidebar: the modern society actually DOES wish for things to fail before even seeing them sadly. We now live in a hate watch mentality. People seem to enjoy watching the f**k up MORE than the success.

They fucked up predator, total recall, and now they will fuck up the running man. Maybe Steve Harvey could play the host.

I hear you

but you ALSO have to accolade we have a large culture of bombings movies with fake reviews, Incel maga dorks flooding social media, people think they can do BETTER at everything, hate watching, and agenda pushing at all sides.

This was NOT prevalent before ell it didn't EXIST before

and don't forget the ENTIRITY of this algorithm form cell phone use social media etc etc is based ENTIRELY on stimulating the most addictive part of the human brain with the most NEGATIVE sh*t.

I want it to turn into a real game show where you can get hurt or lose your life in a country where anyone travel to.Imagine Gladiator but everything being real, real bullets real weapons and if you made it you'd win $$$ and walk away with your life.

Vince,Dana white,Don King show me the money

It wouldn't work in America but the following would be huge

I do like the fact that they changed the concept. Maybe this could make for a pretty good movie. The trailer looked very interesting.

I still believe Steve Harvey would have been an excellent choice over Colman Domingo.

^^^^This looks more like King wanted it to be. No disrespect to the og version which I loved

I completely disagree with that last point. The few seconds we see here? Steve ain't built for this.

But we will soon see.

Looks like it was build to be a Netflix series… or it should have been stretched out as 1 whole season
