Wonder if they'll keep the ending the same..I just hope anyone who is going to see this knows they’re not gonna get a remake of the movie, but I’m more faithful adaptation of the book

usually I be like nah...but that whole premise would work today. They betta not fk it upYeah it's time for this.
The Running Man isn't a "classic" in any real traditional sense. But it did manage to develop a kind of cult following.
Hopefully, whatever newer, "re-imagined" version won't go the way of other "new takes" on previous Arnold Schwarzenegger films have. (Anyone remember Jason Mamoa's Conan or Colin Farrell's Total Recall?)![]()
Hey, man.I feel like the only person that like Farrel's Total Recall. I even bought the DVD..LOL

As for your sidebar: I actually think most people want certain things to succed but Hollywood has become peppermint patty holding the football claiming she not Gonna move and the consumer got tired of being Charlie Brown and not falling for the bullshit.. don’t blame the consumer blame the product maker^^^^
I can tell you this pretty much across the board.
No one SETS OUT to make bullsh*t
All that money time energy and your reputation... is important.
They always set out for it to be GOOD. No one wishes to f**k up. But your right it's HITTING THE MARK that's the trick.
Sidebar: the modern society actually DOES wish for things to fail before even seeing them sadly. We now live in a hate watch mentality. People seem to enjoy watching the f**k up MORE than the success.

I do like the fact that they changed the concept. Maybe this could make for a pretty good movie. The trailer looked very interesting.
I still believe Steve Harvey would have been an excellent choice over Colman Domingo.
