I agree. But he didn't make the playoffs so he was automatically 'not eligible' but this is a team award too apparently. It's the best player on one of the best teams award

Anthony Davis would have been more deserving than Westbrook, dude had a crazy efficiency rating, plus/minus numbers this year.
As for Curry, I can't knock him for winning because the Warriors are the best team. I still think if there was ever a case for a tie, it would have been this year with him and Harden. Jalen Rose summed it up best when he said Curry would win the writers votes but Harden wins the players votes. A lot of players said Harden would have been their MVP.

Kobe & Anthony Davis said they would vote for Harden. Matt Barnes and Tony Allen are on record saying he's the toughest to defend because of how he gets to the line. Players look at the game different than fans. They appreciate when a player does more with less on his team and that's the case Jalen Rose was making.
Curry is more than deserving for MVP though, he had a great year.
