Steak heads, How it's done....I go with "fucking ruined"

I cook filet once every 2 weeks or so usually on Sundays and I cook it medium plus on grill or in skillet. I remove it and put it in oven bag with onions, mushrooms, garlic paste, small water, sea salt and pepper. Put in oven at 375 for about 5-8 mins. Remove cut open bag let everything rest for 2-3 mins. Put it on plate with side veggies and it is the tenderest tastiest medium-med well steak u ever had. I use same method with ribeye and sirloins and they melt like cheese when u eat them. There is nothing like that sear from skillet and then the oven basting them onions and mushrooms into the essense of the meat.

I actually stole some of their spices. My Cowboy ribeye's looked like theirs but were bigger. Got from Sam's fo $23 to $26 apiece. I didn't chuck my fucking steak in the ashes though. :rolleyes2: The fuck is that about? Dumbass may as well pluck cigarette ashes on your dam steak. Them shits are close to 3lbs with that long ass bone so I seared on each side in skillet (cast iron is better to me) for 2-3 mins then heated up oven for 415 to 420 and put in for 15 min. Went higher heat cause they are thick. After that I let it sit inside the oven for the cooldown. Another at least 15 min. The meat was like butter. Literally. Was still medium rare but like flash seared on the outside with the fat and marbling crispy around the edges. Almost had a seizure eating that mf. Headed back to Sams tomorrow to grab 3 more. beats the fuck outta any steakhouse in cost.

I prefer bone in or out ribeye for the marbling(fat).

24-36 hours pre cook I apply Sea Salt, pepper, garlic worchischester (however you spell it) sauce a few dabs of liquid smoke to prep the meat. Sea salt is key

Put it on a cookie cooling sheet (rack with holes or squares to get air to the steak. This is essentially aging your steak and letting the salt work it’s magic on the meat ( a form of curing). Do not cover your steak you want it to dry age.

Flip steak over while it’s in your fridge to make sure both sides age with seasoning.

Day of cook use an oven at 500 degrees or grill at 500 and place your cast iron skillet on it until it’s at cook temp. You want that skillet red hot

Remove your meat from fridge right before cooking. Rub olive oil or almond oil ( I prefer almond, it has a higher smoke temp).

Open your cooking mechanism and place meat on skillet for 4 minutes you’ll get A good crust on that side, flip steak do the same for about a minute less.

I set a timer on my phone so I won’t do the eyeball test. After 8-9 minutes in the coook I remove the skillet with the steak from the grill/oven and let it rest either still on the skillet (for well done) or on a plate for (medium-medium well) let it rest for 5 minutes then start slicing.

Depending on the cut of steak I sometimes use a meat thermometer.

Sea Salt is king

Also try garlic granuales. Rub it in. Caress it. Love it. Lovvvvve Ittttt!

Listen. I do not eat meat but I do know that there is a way to eat it. Well done aint the way.
Steak tar tar was ok the one time I had it. I would never do it again but it wasn't the worst shit ever.
I got it.

Well, just have yourself a big ole heaping helping of Steak Tartar while you're at it. :puke::rolleyes2:

Pescatarian. But it’s still flesh from a living animal which is ironically, meat. I love fish and prefer it over anything else but eh? I’ll bash a sharks brains in and roast his ass over a fire too. I’m eating. Dolphin, some whales and especially gators. All on the plate bro!

lol,

now I cant fuck with whales or dolphins those are like are gotdam relatives... they are actually not fish at all but warm blooded mammals...

I wouldnt eat those at all... I agree that is cannibalism.

but fish like whitings and porgies... you can just look at the flakey flesh, and tell its nothing like land animal flesh at all..

never seen fish meat that was tough like steak, never seen red meat that was flakey like fish...

but bruh leave them dolphins alone, they are our friends...

now sharks... sheeeeeet, I was in trinidad and let me tell you, maracas beach has the best shark and bake in the fuckin WORLD!!!!

the bake is like a fuckin pastry bruh and the shark... fried to perfection ....

mmm mmm good bitch!!

Ok bro, the dolphins and whales are intelligent enough but everything else goes in the pot!

I issued to like mine ruined when I was a young kid. Didn’t understand it because my mindset was red means not done.

Not true...

After trying medium rare and medium I now understand that’s the better way to eat the steak.

When you know better you do better.

That sounds so damned good. The only saltwater fish I've eaten is Ocean Perch and Swordfish, which was also very good. :p:yes:

Higher quality steak can be cooked that way. Bought me a porterhouse for a bit over 20+ bucks, cooked it medium, shit was delicious
