Hollywood is fucked. Writers want to strike because the money has gone to shit because of projects like these.

No consistent work because the shit the lebso execs keep pushing out flop hard. Im not kidding when I say they gave Lifetime/Oprah Network writers major chance to rework old IP.

The current formula is to let a male lead gain the initial audience and let some random female characters with her cast of downtrodden friends kidnap the show.

Don't be a black man with a successful entertainment vehicle. The Hollywood weirdos will be at your door soon trying to scheme their way into whatever profit you are making until they crash and burn it into the ground.

I dont know enough gays to get a real answer but the one I know at my work is SO disinterested in all the pandering shit they do even HE was complaining about that Bud Light shit. I said well what in the hell do the gays want and he said I don’t know child. Just let us get in where we fit in. It doesnt have to be in everything. Shit. BTW: This white dude is a cross dresser and was in that Wong Foo flick years ago. He is a good source.

The plan was to incorporate women, minorities and alphabet people into the media stream to get them vested. Its always been about money and the execs think that pandering to them will make sit more inclusive BUT there is no need to do that. The female led projects simply fail. Widows. The 3555. The Bad Boys show with Sidney as the lead. So many of them fail and its not right but the product just isn’t up to par.

It failed with Star Wars, Bond, Indy, and every other property that tries to make that jump too.


matter fact, the ONLY and I mean ONLY female driven project I seen done well was that animated show Arcane. They just did everything right and showcased diversity for a number of minorities that was pitch perfect.

the other thing is they did a remake of Starsky and Hutch already but it had a comedic take. I love Ben Stiller and everything he does is usually good but that just wasn’t it.



SIDE NOTE: People forget how often a strong male lead would slap the taste out a niggas mouth when he commanded the respect. This was some old school shit. At some point it was a pimp thing and then became a show of strength/ mercy from a badass that he slapped you instead of punching you. I will never forget Nic Cage slapping that little fag in Con Air. Whole theatre was screaming. LOL

Seeing these types of scenes now even puts Will Smith and his bullshit into perspective.
