Spiderman Far from Home (2019) official SPOILERS discussion thread Proceed at your own Risk!

Well, it's obvious from my standpoint that the next phase is going to be Secret Invasion. Which is dope because that would be a great way for Marvel to introduce the x-men and fantastic 4 to the MCU, and tie in Daredevil, Iron Fist, and others if they choose to. Secret Invasion was spread across many comics so they can definitely introduce new character movies if they choose to.

I also hated how many times they mentioned Tony Stark. First 15 minutes, ok fine, but throughout the whole movie I don't think 10 minutes went by without a Stark reference.

cause like always Stark be fucking up shit......ultron, stole pyms stuff, now responsible for mysterio, now he still fucking up shit while dead. Oh yeah, I believe he stoped the clean up of debris from the alien attack in the 1st avengers which gave rise to the vulture. For all good shit he makes. he's responsible for a lot of bullshit.

yeah, they should have found another way to let his motives be known. Why explain it to the same people that have been working with you all this time? They know the story.
Everytime a character in a movie starts a sentence with, "as you know ....", I roll my eyes. If they already know, then WHY THE FUCK are you telling them?!

Off topic for a sec.....Cobie Smulders (Maria Hill) used to be hot when she was in HIMYM. In this movie, she looked tired and wrinkled (only 37).
White women age in dog years
If everyone who blinked. Blinked back in place, then what happened to the people that were on airplanes? On submarines and boats? :smh:
I've had that issue with the blink the second they introduced it in End Game. I wish they would have just said those people were dead after the snap and Tony brought them back to life, because just displacing them opens up so many questions.

People who were snapped on a airplane would just fall to their death. And what are the legal implications of property and holdings for people who were proclaimed dead 5 years ago? This movie kinda yadda yadda that point, but what if someone legit brought your house because you were 'dead', do you get your shit back or not? What about kids who were put into foster care because their parents were snapped. Do the parents automatically get custody back.

They will never fully address these issues in the movies because there will never be a good explanation.

I guess it was possible for Banner to control how people were brought back. So if someone was on a plane, vehicle, ship, high rise building that is no longer there, etc. He could bring them back at another place. If it was safe to bring them back at the spot they got dusted, it would make sense to just let them blip back there.

Except we saw people rematerialize back exactly where they were

That's my point, if it was safe for them to return at that spot, why would he change it? He would only need to change it for the people who would be in serious danger. We didn't see anyone fall to their death when they came back.

Agreed also if he put the effort/thought to try and bring nat back, it stands to reason he would have safeguards for those being brought back in perilous situations.

He didn't want to sacrifice his daughter by going back to the time before the snap
i know . i was joking. in failure to defeat thanos, tony found what yearned for .the only thing that really got him to work on controling the time wormholes was when he saw that picture of peter.

If I remember correctly, either Kevin or the Russos said that Hulk while doing the unsnap, made everyone reappear in a safe place

I keep wondering why I don't like the new version of Spider-Man more. No doubt as a kid he was my favorite comic hero. I saw "Far from Home" the other day and left kinda "I should like it more". They have all the visuals down. They have a perfect actor playing Peter Parker, although I wish he would tone some of the hyperactive personality down just a lil. I liked "Homecoming" a lil better cause I love how "The Vulture" was brought to life but still something is missing. After looking at Sam Raimi first Spider-Man again I got it. This version of Spider-Man has no Tragedy or the fear of not making responsible choices driving his thought process. As bad as we would hate seeing Uncle Ben die again. You can't replace him with Tony Stark. In the Marvel Universe he's known Tony about 2 years. Tony replaced the man who taught him the value of being a good man, a responsible one and humility. The choice he made to let the criminal go who later killed his Uncle haunts him and reminds him when he is about to make life changing decision of who he is. The death of Gwen Stacy haunts him and reminds him that he must be guarded in his actions because they may bring harm to the people he love. The fight scene with him and the green goblin in the Raimi film captures a foe greater than him. Who beat's Spider-Man on every level and when he was almost defeated. It was his will and the sense to protect those he loved which he called up to defeat the Goblin. Raimi does a great job of capturing a Spider-Man defeated and about to give up until the Goblin mentions MJ. He facial expressions go from whimpering and defeated to angry and determined. Finally the last tragedy is he must deny himself what he craves most, the love of MJ to protect her. Spider-Man just like Batman, tragedy is the missing ingredient. Spider-Man is a haunted Hero. This new version is a hot dog on white bread with Ketchup and no Mustard. You can't leave out "With Great Power comes Great Responsibility", c'mon man!!!

This guy theorized the last time we saw the real Fury in a movie was Captain America Winter Soldier

No. If they gave you what you are asking for you would be thoroughly bored with these new movies and would be complaining.
You really want to see the same story replayed in 3 different iterations of the character or do you want to move on and grow and tell some refreshed stories? Ultimately what makes Spiderman, Spiderman is there and it is being fleshed out more clearly movie after movie. Sit back and enjoy the story being told and you just might enjoy it more.

NO ONE wants to see the same shit replayed every 5 years.

Shiiiit Imma tell ya, I thoroughly enjoyed this flick this is THE Spidey movie I've been waiting for, seen all of them and this by far was my favorite. I see opinions on this are all over the place so I'll be brief, Mysterio was the best thing about this flick, they pushed his character's powers in a direction was not expecting. The only thing I did not like was MJ got way too much shine and the so called "romance" was bullshit, why waste time trying to entertain this morbid, drab ass bitch and is Zendaya even a female?:dunno::confused: Effects were great story was solid, the spoilers didn't hurt this movie at all. I hope it does reach the billion dollar mark, it deserves it for expertly stringing all this year's Marvel flicks together. Oh I enjoyed Mysterio's last minute "FUCK YOU" to Spidey and Stark hooked Peter up lovely, too bad he didn't realize it. Four stars here (****) and this is my final Marvel movie I ain't getting old watching these flicks let the young guns enjoy Phase 4.:D

Funny how "something is missing from this movie". But GOT was "perfect" for y'all niggas. Smh. Weirdos.

Dude at the end credits of Homecoming. He got arrested on the boat. Then the dude Dimitri driving the bus in FFH. He worked with Mysterio
I thought domitri worked with fury

Same with that lady who tried to get parker naked

Gotta rewatch homecoming

Man shut up

When black panther 2 drop u was will watch it too

Saw it yesterday. It was better than the first. They handled Mysterio being a con perfect. Didn't care for Parkers identity getting revealed but I know it will get sorted out and redirected. Glad Simmons was casted back as Jameson.

I understand people want to see Doc Oct, Lizardman and the Goblins but we don't need their origins. Just show them getting beat by Spiderman and then the Vulture recruiting them. An origin of Kraven, Chameleon or the Scorpion would be cool, and if they bring in Carnage and Venom after Venom 2. The way they made the elemental creatures shows they can do a good job with Sandman.

Movie was great. Much better than Homecoming. I just wish that Sony chilled out with the trailers. I was avoiding them on purpose. And they brought back JK Simmons! Yes!!!!

Venom not in this same universe with this mcu spiderman. There's alot of directions they can go with this spiderman as long as marvel can keep making spiderman movies without having to fight with Sony.

True but I need a good version of Carnage. But yeah he has so many villains they can go anywhere. And eventhough Miles Morales already got his movie, they still had Glover play his uncle in Homecoming. Curious if he makes an appearance later on.
